Yep ... pathetic. I may pick up the comics. They’ve published seasons 3 and 4. Might be interesting.

After the ‘Weber on the porch in winter’ scene in St. Elsewhere, and after watching the first episode of the ‘new and improved Battlestar Galactica’, none of the others have I ever watched.

And after watching the ‘10 listing’, with that fat traitorous blob Roseanne, I’m happy that I did not.

Definitely agree on St. Elsewhere, I think I sat there for about 10 minutes in confused irritation after the ending scene — I loved Quantum Leap and thought that ending was very sad, but I agree with the up thread comment, it was the noble thing to do, and that was Dr. Sam Beckett to a T — “LOST” was one big ball of confusion the entire time, but I thought Hurley was a hoot (and yeah ... I shallowly enjoyed the plethora of hot guys!)

Me too. I love Don Draper inspite of everything.

Yes, I thought that was great too. And I thought it was such a clever device to bring back all the characters we remembered.

The “backwards” episode they did was brilliant too, I thought.

They need more Roger this year though. I hope he punches Jim Cutler’s lights out.

“...the end of St. Elsewhere was weird.”

I remember that, sort of. My mother LOVED that show, I think it was her favorite TV show of all time, probably the only one she really was a fan of.

I think she liked the ending, but I could be wrong about that.

Yes, for sure. The other series was so dreadful compared to the first, but you kind of had to forgive them after that ending.

What did everybody think of Resurection? Know it hasn’t ended but that one was something wasn’t it?

Yeah...I liked the ending of Quantum Leap...he went out on his own helping folks. The Sopranos was brilliant. They always said you’ll never see it coming your friends will whack you. Well the viewer got a taste of mob life...they whaced the viewer.

“Medium.”

I think I kind of had a love/hate with that ending.

One think the NEVER made sense to me about that show: why did her husband have an English accent? I loved him, he was a great husband, but the accent never made sense.

The last episode of The Flying Nun was so sad. Sally Field getting sucked into the engine of a 747.

Star Trek Voyager finale was a major letdown, IMO.

The black represented Tony’s POV....The viewer was conditioned to see Tony’s POV at the point, relative to the sound of the doorbell, and the shot of Tony looking up at the door.

Chase set up the pattern, which he repeated five times. That’s why he focused so much on Meadow’s parking issues. She was the last family member to arrive, and you saw her about to enter, you hear the bell, and it was clear at the moment Tony was shot, he was about to see her coming in. Everything in that scene was there for a reason. Also note that once Meadow sat down, she would have blocked Tony from the shooter.

There are so many clues that Chase left there, that once you see them, you can reach no other conclusion.

Great thread ES, with so many season finales going on.

Tonight is “The Americans”. We are completely hooked on that show now, and I’m already worrying about how will they end it all.

And Nashville! Oy, a lot going on there too. LOVE that show.

I don’t care what people think, I like TV and I always have.

One of the greatest treats of my life was that (just by happenstance) I was the only one of my grandmother’s grandchildren to watch the series final of “The Fugitive” with her.

She loved, loved, loved that show and I knew it was an honor to see the ending with her. I got my love of mystery stories from her, and for that I will be ever appreciative.

Guess she should have listened to Edna Mode, "NO CAPES!"
