A Saudi solider devoured a snake alive during military training that was watched by the Gulf kingdoms interior minister Prince Mohammed bin Nayef.
Arar newspaper published pictures showing the soldier biting into the reptiles head before going down into its body.
The paper said the drill involving an elite army unit was intended to demonstrate the troops ability to adapt to various natural conditions.

We have a swimming pool and a pond. The pond would be good for him.

As I recall, snake and other such creatures are
haram. What's next? Training exercises where women are allowed to drive? A "Don't ask, don't tell" policy for the Saudi army?

He better be sure to totally destroy that snake’s head before he swallows it down. Some snakes retain the biting reflex for hours after being decapitated or otherwise killed. I can imagine Seal training being something like that. I have no real idea, just guessing that they would receive extensive survival training.

In basic, at Little Vietnam, the instructors would bite the head off of a chicken, and then reach inside for the eggs at various levels of development, and eat those.
