Jonny, I honestly feel they are doing pretty well with the Alzheimers. Though they are acting like its name is a private body part they aren’t allowed to say on TV. I think “Goldy” Devane is doing a good job, not overplaying the disease, still being strong and functioning, and I think the two who know are about right - coddling or dismissing the way they are. Pretty typical for early stage when everyone, including the one who has it, don’t know what to do or how to be different.
She makes Behrooz’s mom look uncreepy.

Jonny, I don’t think I ever got over that season on Boardwalk. Killing off Jimmy and the flashback scenes with his disgusting mom. That was the same season that on Dexter, his sister suddenly “realizes” she has those feelings for her brother. We should have known then that the writers were floundering.

Me. First thing she did when she got back to the Hobbit compound was put on another layer of the stuff. Guess we’re stuck with Raccoon Chloe.
This was the only thing they could have done to make her look worse than that season where she wore a dumb vest every day to film in. Poor actress, all last fall she had to wear hats I guess.

I think the production value is top-notch but I guess having President Heller address the MPs in the House of Commons was a set too far. Herding the MPs into a classroom looked a little lame IMO. As for those few boorish MPs who lashed out at Heller, prompting him to freeze, I think that’s a mischaracterization of the British. But it’s in the script so, meh.
