Maybe she will be so upset that shell go catatonic....please
Again?
I cant handle this...the Pres is NOBLE....sort of like Obama, huh?
Noble. I don’t think anyone would ever consider Obama that adjective. Selfless. Omgosh.
I don’t even think the terrorists would take him.
We were stunned over here that Heller really died. We didn’t think it would actually happen. Unbelievable. This show is not predictable.
Only reason Heller might not be dead... No silent countdown.
Oh wow, I forgot about the silent countdowns!
TV Guide interviewed Manny Coto and Evan Katz (producers of 24) about this episode. You can read the whole interview here, but this is the relevant section:
You killed the president! Unless you want us to believe he might have survived that missile exploding...
Manny Coto: No, it's pretty cut and dry.
Why did Heller decide to give himself over to Margot despite Jack's insistence not to?
Coto: When Heller invokes the fact that he is ill, that he has Alzheimer's and he is fading away, that makes Jack stop. Heller's reasoning is actually not a bad one in the sense that, "I only have a certain amount of time left. And if I live, more people will die. ... If I could prevent that, what am I really giving up? I'm giving up a couple years maybe one more year of lucidity." [In Heller's mind] it's worth the trade.
Evan Katz: It is a very strong statement of heroism and nobility and sacrifice. How many of our presidents would do that? We loaded the dice in our 24 way, where he knows he doesn't have that much time left, and he thinks this woman will keep her word.
Hologram?
I can think of a couple who would...and I can think of ONE who definitely would not.
Good morning :)
LOL! He did.
That was funny.
Sorry :-\ Mine won't even update. I get the red flag thing from Windows. I need to fix that. As soon as I figure out how, lol.
We have yet to see Jack fly a space shuttle, but I suspect he could do that too :)
I think in the first episode it was said that he’d be “symptomatic” in a year. Which is completely different than not recognizing anyones faces.
I’d say that Heller lied to Jack, overplaying the progress of the Alzheimers to get Jack to go along.
Skipping ahead to say, Good Morning, Yaelle! :)
I’m guessing the Margo plotline gets resolved next week or the week after, and the preview for next week definitely hints at that.
There are now two other plotlines to be resolved: Adrian/Novarro and handing Jack over to the Russians. Yeah, Heller may have pardoned Jack, but who does everyone think has the physical copy of the pardon letter?
Or an life size inflatable President. I heard they tried it with Biden but found out that the inflatable was more coherent and people liked it better.
LOL!
Hey there, what’s happening?
-------------------------->
*snicker*
Glad to see the BUM get blown up...not too smart in real life either I guess...
It’s OK, Jack will take care of everything!
Watch out for GLOWBULL Warming Jack!!
