My beef is common enough. Overall I like what Glenn Beck has to say. But when we starts preaching and a straining emphatic preaching type voice. He does this with a number of topics so this is when I go -click-- I am out. At times he gets weepy as if he thinks he is a messiah of some kind
I did not like what he said about Bundy either
“Beck, Hannity, Limbaugh, etc, are all designed to keep us marching like good little slaves in the right/left republican/democrat paradigm.”
They all stink. The real shows (Jerry Hughes, Stan Major, Chuck Harder) were defanged by Clinton in the mid nineties.
I tuned him out when he started doing that on Fox. Very insulting.
Beck = Sell Out
I do the same. For a while there he was even doing a self-help guru schtick and it was boring as hell.
Same here. I am not going to be preached to how we have to emulate MLK Ghandi Beck is really nutty sometimes
“Breitbart called him a false prophet.”
Breitbart was right. Beck is dangerous. I don’t know if he’s just a loon with a messianic complex or a stalking horse for the Progressive police state. Either way he’s bad news.
The MLK/Gandhi stuff is very deliberate, and repeated for a reason. They’re always put in the same class as Jesus of Nazareth. The intent is to minimize Christ, to reduce him to a mere “great” figure.
I listen to Beck, but I never forget that I’m listening to a very powerful mormon. I take the useful information that The Blaze provides and discard everything else.
He's got himself set up nicely for the collapse. (or so he thinks) He doesn't need us anymore.
Beck who?
Curious if you could give some evidence of that claim.
I hadn’t seen/heard that one.
Thanks
He’s doing it again today. It gets insufferable when he goes on a sermon for an hour nearly every day.
I tune in to talk shows to talk about current events. His sermons may as well be recorded in advance and put on a loop. I don’t need to be told by a fallible man every day that I need to adhere to values I already value. It’s boring.
I generally like Beck’s take on things but he needs to stop selling himself sometimes and just discuss things.
Its like being lectured to. And he goes on about Gahandi and Martin Luther King and getting almost weepy about them and nonviolence. I have better things to do and if I am near a radio I will turn on the classic rock station
