I had never heard of Singer until this morning, when I read this story on another site. Multiple commenters there stated that Singer's sexual trysts with underage men were well known and provided links to Hollywood discussion sites. I can personally attest that Singer's parties featuring underaged men and special guests were discussed and joked about years ago, while not confirming the accusations in those discussions as fact,
As for the timing, Hawaii changed its statue of limitations for child sexual abuse on April 24, 2012. The change gave victims who had claims predating April 24, 2012 until April 24, 2014 to file claims. This plaintiff appears to be filing under the deadline.
How he can prove charges after all these years remains a mystery.
