It's the last bastion of women's outerwear that hasn't been appropriated by the more fashionable men out there - until now.
High heels are, apparently, de rigueur for men.
To the possible chagrin of some more traditional males, those with a fashionable eye and an eccentric sensibility are taking the women's power dressing weapon of choice and making it their own.

People who want to mutilate boys and parade their boytoys around and be admired, like Geffen was at the White House recently. It is why they are forcing “Pride” of sodomy in our military and in Kindergarten—to force Saudi/Afghani Ethics where Good and Evil is flipped and Christianity is erased.
Is talking about men with a fashion style, etc. a code word for homosexual men, but they don’t want to come out and say that homosexual men are the men who want to wear high heels????
They’re probably talking about straight men. Gays wearing womens clothing is so common the paper probably wouldn’t have wasted an article on it.

I think there was a trend in the Middle Ages to wear really long shoes, even to the point that the toes were curled up and tied to the ankle.
This trend just stands out because it is a sign of female fashion trends spreading to men.
