Me either. My spouse’s HP refused to start-up, so she called their customer service this morning. (It’s 3 months old.)
HP pretty much told her, “Too bad, so sad.”
I finally got it to start by taking out the battery and pressing the start button while inserting the power cord.

I’m with you. No HP/Compaqs. I still get warranty and service repair requests even though I don’t do them any more since I am somehow still working full time. 90% are HP and Compaq.
Dittos to what Badger says. Ixnay on the D’achenpee-ay. They are strictly a printer company these days, and not very good at it, at that.
