I don’t know what that means but the announcers seem to make a big deal out of time out of the pit and back to the track and who gains and who loses. So I was trying to figure out whether they are letting drivers change positions during cautions.

Oh, my bad. Coming off pit road you will change positions based on your stop. If somebody takes 4 tires vs somebody taking 2 tires that 2 tire stop will beat that 4 out of pit row.

If you are new to this, pit road is where all races are won or lost. PIT strategy plays in all races. 2 or 4 tires is the question. Fuel is always in play.
JR lost last week due to fuel.

A friend of mine raced stock cars locally back in the early to mid 60’s. Bought a brand new shiney Ford. He was very proud of it and the paint job. After his first race at Heidleberg...oh well. Welcome to the club!

If you get a chance go and have some fun at your local track.
I raced a brand new 1996 Ford Exploder and was humiliated by whatever went by me. Tons of fun.

Our track is now a WalMart, Lowes and Woltz and Wind Ford. There is another track sorta near but I’ve heard they don’t run much.
Plus breathing dirt isn’t as much fun as it used to be...
