Authorities in Tampa have arrested a 31-year-old woman is facing five-years in prison for animal cruelty charges after she allegedly performed a c-section on a dog with a 'steak knife', no anesthesia and then used glue to close the amateur incision.
The Mastiff called Nadia died soon after and now Candace Patricia Hauser is facing a felony charge for removing the last two of the dogs 13 puppies on March 4 even though there was a veterinarian nearby.
Investigators arrested Hauser on March 5 when the dog's owner brought her to Veterinary Healthcare Associates in Winter Haven telling them she believed the animal was dying - when in fact Nadia was already dead....

The “glue” she used was super glue, commonly used for surgery.
It doesn’t matter if there’s a vet nearby or not. It’s hard to find a vet who will see your dying dog if you don’t have gobs of money to put down and right now!
They can turn your dog away, resulting in death of the animal, but if YOU try to save it and fail, YOU violated the law? Something’s wrong with that.

Why "must" she have had "some knowledge"? If she had ANY knowledge about dogs, she would NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER have done that.
I hope there is a very special place in hell for fools like her. What IS scary is that she is 31 years old. IMAGINE how her "stupid" will grow as she ages. Yikes. THAT is VERY scary.

Prior to modern surgery techniques, many women did not survive C-sections. Often, the goal was just to save the baby because the mother was already beyond help.
Nor with steak knives.
Vets don’t work for free. If she did this out of cruelty then she should pay. If she was trying to help the dog then I’d give her the benefit of the doubt.

She sacrificed the bitch to get another couple/four grand for the last two pups.

C sections are NOT performed on women all the time. I don't know of ONE woman, friend, co-worker, acquaintance, NONE who had a C-section. Surgery is NOT common for anyone except Hollywood people who have to stay "beautiful." Pregnant women get C sections when there really isn't other choices.
Surgery Going "under the knife" is dangerous for anyone. I don't care if it's a cataract or a C section, it's not done on women ALL THE TIME.
But, maybe SHOCK did kill the dog. The poor dog. It's better off dead than with a maniac owner like Ms. Stupid.

People shouldn't have dogs, or ANY pets, unless they are FULLY prepared to do what is necessary to keep their animals healthy, safe, clean and up-to-date on their shots.
I think this moron AND her friend should be euthanized...
