Reminds me of this from last year.

Hikers Destroy 200 Million Year Rock Formation, Celebrate (Video)


A group of hikers high-fived after one of them intentionally pushed over a large rock, which is part of the "goblins" or "hoodoos" formation, and is nearly 200 million years old. The men filmed one of their buddies referred to as "Glenn" pushing the giant rock from behind.

Two observations:

1) I don't think the graffiti is contemporary with the statue, and

2) FTA: Fortunately, the statue is a copy... meaning the fool didn't break the statue as the headline states.
