Knowing this administration, it’s probably to pump up the enrollment numbers.
I’d be really tempted to tell them to take their 10-10EZ and stick it where the sun don’t shine.
Scan the document and post it here and across the interweb.
The government’s thanks for its military.
In a competitive world, a new insurance company would be saying, “Check us out. We’re better and less expensive.” This is noticeably missing from Obamacare.
We live in a country governed by consent of the people. I withdraw my consent.
Even the blind could see this one coming.
I have Tricare For Life, and I have a yearly physical at the local VA clinic. Have not seen this letter, but will keep a look out for it.
It’s my understanding that VA benefits are and have been need based except for a few veteran categories. When you enter the system, they do ask questions about your net worth including savings, checking, value of your home, pensions and IRA’s.
Your benefits are determined by your net worth unless you served in combat or are a disabled veteran. For me, they pay for very little and there is a co-pay.
Medicare send us a letter a few months ago saying Medicare covered our requirements and we didn't have to sign up for anything else.
We have Tri-for-Life too and between Medicare and Tri it covers us completely (just a small fee for 'scripts by mail).
On the way to dismantling the coverage for Vets through the VA system, I heard a man say if you like your health coverage, you can keep it.
I guess it means that you still have your current coverage, but it will not meat Obama’s requirements. So you will have to pay the yearly fine.
I just got one too. I have health insurance thru IBM (retired wife’s policy). It was cancelled last year but IBM got us into another policy (not O-care). I’m an AF vet, but never signed up for the VA. This letter says, “Our records show you haven’t signed up for VA, and when you do you meet the O-care standards.” I got the same impression they want to pad the numbers to make it look better. Eff’em
I got a letter from the V.A. stating that there will be no changes in my healthcare provisions, since I have been identified as a ‘%age’ disability, and I do not have to do a thing.
If you are below ‘30 percent’, there were papers, once a year, that I had to do, even when I worked at the V.A., that were a real PITA, and yes, they asked a BUNCH of questions.
Does Tri-Care cover maternity?
The purpose of the Veterans Administration is not to help Veterans. The purpose of the Veterans Administration is to provide jobs for Democrat voters.
Unreal....Please spread this everywhere.
Wild. I received a letter from the VA stating that the Instant Robbery Service and the SS tell them I make too much $$$$. They want to reevaluate my percentage and want me to pay after 37 years.
Coincidence?
