I don’t know about you, but I pronounce it as “Christian Era”.
I don’t pronounce it at all.
We have used BC and AD for centuries. Now some idiotic dumb ass has found a need to change it? What the hell is that all about?

It really bothers then that the word Christ is included in the BC. This is merely a stepping stone to moving away from the religious implications entirely.
Liberals use BCE meaning “before the common era” and CE meaning “Common era” - it’s their way of diminishing Christ. Whenever someone brings up BCE/CE I tell them it means before the Christian era and CE as the Christian era.
So do I. Leftists still will never catch on that changing the rules on a whim isn’t a one way street.
I always thought that BCE looks more like part of the alphabet soup in a long British title.
