FULL TITLE: The moment woman jogger in headphones is knocked to the floor and handcuffed by cops because she didn't hear when they tried to ticket her for jaywalking
A female jogger out for a run in Austin, Texas, Thursday was arrested, handcuffed and hauled into a police cruiser screaming and in tears for allegedly failing to identify herself.
The entire incident was caught on video recorded by Chris Quintero, a student at University of Texas who was sitting in a cafe across the street and witnessed the woman being taken into custody.
The arrest took place just before 11am outside a fast-food eatery near the intersection of 24th Street and San Antonio Street in Austin.

UConn has great basketball teams but not much of an English Department.
Yup. We hire people like this and extend them power predicated on the idea that they will use discernment in assessing situations reasonably.
Until there is a public apology from the police chief of the city and this woman is made whole, I will never again set foot in Austin nor will I buy anything from any business based there.
Disgusting.
Thank God she did not have a dog out running with her.
Your comment which you repeated shows little intelligence on your part.
I notice you did not state that your primary care physician is NOT a proctologist, so I guess that either did not bother you or more logically that your primary care physician is a proctologist.
Grizzled old Trotskyite reporter Snejana was likely referring to the ocean floor, harkening back to her early days on the beat.
slamming her to the ground was stupid
You have a great interest in proctology. Are you a latent homosexual? That would explain your anally compulsive love of law and order at the expense of individual freedom. Does the idea of prison rape turn you on? Is that why you want people arrested? Inquiring minds would like to know. Please take the time to compose an answer that shows the state of your repressed homosexual fantasies....
My point was with being ‘detained’ vs. ‘arrested’, not merely a traffic stop
I don’t care who you are, that’s funny right there
Police are allowed to lie to peasants, so I just assume that this is a lie.
After, the Austin PD later lied about what the donutmunchers were doing there in the first place.
Stephen used profanity when speaking with officers
She was being kidnapped by strange men in funny-looking costumes. Some people are scared of clowns, and THEIR funny-looking costumes. Clowns aren't as dangerous, of course.
Actually, I would suspect that the fat pervs were probably hitting on the hot chick jogger in their own inimitable donutblob way.
I'll bet she weighs 95 soaking wet, where the Donut Blimps all look like they're over 250 pounds apiece.
So, they had her by almost a thousand pounds.
They could have beat her unconscious like they did to the deaf guy last week, or beat her to death like they did to Kelly Thomas or the theater guy. That would have taught her uppity little peasant ass.
Hey, absence of hearing is no excuse.
The Blue DonutBlobs beat a deaf guy unconscious last week because he did "dangerous sign language" at them, after refusing to lick their boots on command, because he couldn't hear them.
I'm pretty sure that the Founding Fathers didn't intend for American Mundanes to have to lick the boots of law enforcement on command.
There weren't even a whole lot of law enforcement types for many years of the early Republic, and they certainly didn't have the attitude of Respect Mah Authoritay that our ever-multiplying DonutBlimps have now.
LOL! Ba-ZINGA!
Sure, I trust 9 tyrants in robes whom couldn’t read to understand the Constitution if the mob were at their front door.
Same way my 5th A. Rights are null when filing out my ‘tax returns’, or a license to carry when I have my 2nd A Rights. My Rights do not cease to exist during travel (I’m sure not a ‘driver’...I make no $$ ‘taking myself’ to work. Though, they sure can lawyer up every which angle to ‘gotcha’ but can’t seem to understand ‘shall no be infringed’ readily enough).
