User’s can now select a “custom” gender option.
“There’s going to be a lot of people for whom this is going to mean nothing, but for the few it does impact, it means the world,” Facebook software engineer Brielle Harrison told the Associated Press. Harrison, who worked on the project, is in the process of gender transition, from male to female.
Facebook will also allow users to select between three pronouns: “him,” “her” or “their.”

Distinction seems to be based on the creation of a new term to define yet again a further facet of a psychosis.

Andorians on Star Trek have four genders (zhen, shen, chan, and thaan). I should tell them I mentally FEEL Andorian and feel discriminated against since there's no "thaan" option. The fact its fictional isn't an excuse either... they have a facebook language option for "pirate" so everything will be written like Long John Silver.

What is “cis?”
It’s what used to be called “normal”. A male who was born a male and thinks he’s a male, or a female who was born a female and thinks she’s a female.

There’s a contradiction within the nonconformist community. They all want to be special yet have a community.
It’s an ego thing. Gender IS binary for literally 99% of the population. They want their sexual identity and sexual attraction acknowledged. How often have you met a heterosexual who made sure you knew all about his sex life?
Why stop at 58? That’s discriminatory. There should be at least 580 genders for freaks.

What is “cis?”
I had to look that up too. Apparently, normal people are cissexual (as opposed to transsexual). So, “cis male” means you are a normal male. The problem with this is that by forcing normal people to adopt “cis male” or “cis female”, you are being co-opted into this whole insane mess. People who do facebook (I do NOT) should demand that “male” and “female” be added.
I think I need to go live on a remote island or mountaintop somewhere to escape this insanity.
