I'm going to be in a hotel room without tv (only cheesy mexican tv via antenna) or internet access for several days. Can't go out sightseeing due to safety reasons. No, I'm not being held captive. Anyway, I have books to read but would like to download a game.
Any suggestions for the old fashioned adventure or mystery games? I'm old....I loved the original DOS adventure game with the trolls and the plovers. I'm female, so not looking for violent games....more the thinking, problem solving type.
Any safe websites out there that won't load my computer down with malware?
Big Fish games has a huge selection of adventure games. Free to download a 1 hr trial on any.
Sometimes I buy, sometimes 1 hr is plenty to know I’d rather not. You could pickup several trial games and try them out.
durak caed game, free flow, cribbage, word twist
I personally never played Ultima IV, but 5, 6, 7, were amazing. Easily among the top 10 games I ever played.
Civilization, any of them.
Kerbal Space shuts down as soon as it starts, darn
it didn’t work for me, drat
Oh man... that brings back memories.
With *your* profile picture that's understood.
Freecell, Spider Solitaire, Checkers...
Any of the Popcap games can become hypnotic, such as Bejeweled and so on.
All the old Myst games were good and utterly non-violent, if you can still get them to run.
You might like Syberia if you can find it - lady searches Toy Town for clues and objects; it’s a very cute and engaging game.
Thanks, W.
