“Finally it makes sense why Hugh Grant went for that skanky streetwalker.”

I was in England one Christmas visiting my son and his wife. A group of actors came by to pick up son and wife as wife had been a friend of one of the actors for a long time, they went to school together and the wife was also an actress, and every Christmas wife and this male actor went to a pub to see who could drink the most. The young actors identified themselves but none of their names were familiar to me, they were just people as all actors are. One of the actors kissed me on the cheek.

A few months later, Hugh Grant was caught in a taxi with a hooker. my son calls me and says, “Mother, remember Hugh Grant kissed you on the cheek.” That was a shock - I didn't know that was Hugh Grant who kissed me. He was the actor who was going to have the drinking contest with the wife.

Let me make this perfectly clear, Hugh Grant kissed me on the cheek and that's it.

Hugh was a friend of theirs and after that incident with the hooker, the press was all over him, and he would put on a disguise and go to their house so he could have some time where he could relax without anyone knowing where he was. I repeat, it was only a kiss on the cheek.

Sure. Whatever you say...

That is an interesting story, assuming you’re a woman.

It would be a very interesting story if you are a man.

So, Which is it then?

LOL. Well better you than me. He may be a fine fellow, but I have not really appreciated his movies. I like Science Fiction, Action, and Mysteries mostly.

I do enjoy Downton Abbey and some of the other master piece presentations. I liked the patriot, and we were soldiers as well as the first Steven Segal movie. Used to watch a lot of westerns too. Loved the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
