When Denver loses, they lose big.
Well if not for Don Beebe, Dallas would have scored the most points in a SB.
Peyton Manning proved once again that, from September to December, he is a cross between Superman and Joe Montana. When it comes down to January and February, however, he is a serviceable QB at best. There has to be some explanation why he is now the losingest QB in playoff history.
Maybe he got complacent after winning his 5th REGULAR SEASON MVP award? No matter, Eli (who at the end of the game looked like he had swallowed a sour lemon himself) still holds the better SB record in the family.
Good thing they got rid of Tebow, or it might have been a blowout. :)
This happened because God was watching when Denver treated Tebow so very poorly. He knew the best way to get them was to make them fly high and then cut their wings so they crash to earth...and they did.
The Broncos turned in the worst Super Bowl performance in decades. Tebow would have done better. Serves Elway right.
Will the NFL turn on Russell Wilson now because he gave glory to God for his victory, or does persecution only apply to White Christian quarterbacks?
That was embarrassing. I don't care who you root for.
I had always figured my Pats’ loss to Chicago was the worst. Glad we’re number two.
The use of Roman numerals is beyond the comprehension of most journalists. Although Manning lost to the Saints in Super Bowl XLIV, yesterday’s game was Super Bowl XLVIII.
I heard that:
- The only real horse at the game yesterday was “Seattle Slew”.
- In the 2nd half, Manning wasn’t calling “Omaha”, it was more like “Oma-HELP!!!”
Wow...
I had no idea the Vikings had been to the Superbowl that many times.
Not like they’ll get anywhere near it any time soon...
I pulling for a miracle for the Broncs, but I knew deep down the Seahawks D would shut them down.
Don’t know if this will make you feel better or worse, dear. :)
