2014 Maserati Ghibli MSRP: $65,600 - $75,700
That explains it. They are breaking into the mainstream. That is also one beautiful car.
Too bad it’s Italian.

Big headed dogs!!! Yes!
I was amazed when I saw Sarah in it, at first I thought it was another animal rescue thing, then a parody
How it was they got her to agree to it, I’ll never understand!

My apology. The commercial I linked was the Dodge Ram commercial entitled “GOD made a Farmer” by Paul Harvey.

worst commercials in yearsThere were too many car ads. I thought almost all of the ads were more stylish than clever this year, and that gets boring. The two clever ones....dog/horse love and the dorito time machine were clever and memorable. JMHO

Thanks! I loved that commercial, although I no longer consider Chrysler or GM to be ‘American’ car manufacturers.

My thought when we knew it was Maserati - MASERATI has to ADVERTIZE NOW???

I remember the “like to buy the world a coke” singing commercial. Everyone sang in english.
Language unifies.
This commercial divides.

" It is a series coming out on FX in July about a vampire take over of the earth. Its NOT sparkly vampires. Very dark. Based on the book trilogy by Guillermo del Toro." I hadn't heard about that; thanks. Will have to check it out.
The most exciting commercials for me yesterday were the sneak previews of the Walking Dead.

I wholeheartedly agree about the excellent and moving rendition of this National Anthem.
If you notice the brief appearance of the deaf interpreter, she too was emoting in sync.
At the very least she wasn't doing this

I lost some respect for ol’ Bob Dylan there. So seldom does ads, and he does this one about an Italian-owned car company whose only two “American” connections are
1. assembles, in the US, largely foreign-made parts into cars; and
2. has label of once American company
Dude.

I liked the Jaguar Brit super villains commercial.
At least it had a bit of wit, intelligence, and dry humor so lacking in American commercials.

I missed that one, had to watch it online after the game, dogs in the yard starting snarling, and every body in the house went running outside to see what was going on.
