Red Dragon was really good, he was also in Mission Impossible 3 and Catching Fire.
Not sure if this is going to effect Mockingjay as I’m not sure what if any part he was going to play in it.
Twister was one horrible performance (worst of his career) in a stupid movie. Other than that, admired his work.
Yes, he was talented. Surprised he was only 46—he looked like he was in his late 50s.
Guess a heroin addiction will do that to you.
Me either.
I remember Mission Impossible 1 and 2, but not 3
What was Red Dragon and Catching Fire about?
I got SLAMMED on Freerepublic when I expressed sympathy for Brad Renfro when he overdosed. It’s always tragic when someone CHOSES to end their life this way.
“Guilt” with Meryl Streep and Amy Adams - fantastic performance as a priest. RIP
He was genius in that role and deserved an Oscar.
Just think, if he had spent his money on having a good life and not on drugs, he would be alive and enjoying life.
He’s going to miss the superbowl
It’s a horrendous waste; all that money, had a huge illustrious amount of movie credits to his name, and still has plenty of life ahead of him, chooses a needle to end it all.
He apparently had to do what he did. I suggest that he was unable to “enjoy life” without his various drug vices. Apparently, he was one screwed-up puppy.
Chances are the heroin is coming from foreign countries, first stop is the ghetto, the next stop is the suburbs, then the countryside.
An outstanding talent... Sad to hear of his passing. RIP.
I suppose that you have to do a lot of sick stuff in that industry and drugs are a way to forget about it.
One could leave that industry when one discovers such a compromising situation. I guess killing one’s self is one way to do that.
.
I think he didn’t believe he could just pick up stakes and leave. Marilyn Monroe died in that industry and Grace Kelly married Rainier because he was a way out (other than just quitting or fading of course) and it’s odd how the ones who do survive are the ones who either conform to the hippie leftism or they just quietly walk away.
Red Dragon was a prequel to Silence of the Lambs, I thought it was good, but the book was way better. I’ve always thought that Red Dragon was just a way for Anthony Hopkins to get to play Hannibal Lechter one more time.
Catching Fire is the Sequel to the Hunger Games movie. If you haven’t seen Hunger Games, and Catching Fire, I highly recommend them. They are based on a series of Young Adult novels, where a corrupt centralized government forces children to compete in a to-the death battle. I really enjoyed Catching Fire more then the first one. Hunger Games focused more on the training and the battles, this one was a lot more story-driven, which I enjoyed more, but it did have the action as well.
It’s really fun to watch all these kids loving these movies and books that basically say “Hey, centralized government control is a really bad idea!”
Great Great Role...
