I liked his early work, but he lost me when he played the queer in Boogie Nights.

My day is ruined-—I loved him and would see anything he was in.
A great actor.

He was really good as Freddy Miles in The Talented Mr Ripley, with Jude Law and Matt Damon. Oh and Gwyneth.

He’s admitted to heroin addiction previously. Supposedly, there is a mix of heroin and Fentanyl out there. It has been causing deaths in the MD and PA areas. He may have gotten his hands on some of it.

I only watched a few of his films, but he was very good.
Sorry to see addiction claim another, he knew the rules, I guess fame and fortune isn’t all we think it might be. Guess he was a tortured soul.

I’ve seen him portray Philip Seymour Hoffman in Red Dragon, Boogie Nights, The Big Lebowski, and Catching Fire. In Capote he portrayed Truman Capote. I haven’t seen enough of his films to truly come to any conclusions on his acting abilities.

“Before The Devil Knows You’re Dead” was a favorite of mine.

He was great as Artie Howe, though I always wondered if he was just being himself there.

How did he “lose you”? You do understand he was acting, right? (Very well, in my opinion).

Noooo! I loved him in The Talented Mr. Ripley and Mission Impossible: 3. How awful. And he did a great job in Capote.
