Right now ... fried dough being thrown at them. It’s like feeding time at Sea World.
I read that a few minutes ago and thought you were being facetious! Laughing out loud now, as Harry starts tossing beignets!!! I’m all “oh! Jonny!! Ha ha ha ha ha!”
Harry is being silly with his beignets and I look over at Keith who is CONVULSED in laughter, I think he may have peed.
My gosh, when Caleb got the nod, the judges applauded like their pooch fetched a ball. Not much enthusiasm.
I’m glad he is getting his hometown welcome. I hope he learned who will make him famous - HIS FANS. Don’t dis the fans!
Whaaa? They saved Alex the Perpetually Dull? I have some problems with Pinky, but I think she is better than Alex and more likable. Oh well.
She did look pi$$ed after Caleb was picked.
Let’s hear her swan song. Crying. JLo crying with her. Keith bobbing. Other contestants bobbing along with the Dawg. Keith begins a slow Super Bob that threatens to dislocate his clavicles. Pinky’s eyes redden. She finishes the song and looks utterly defeated.
I do think this is somehow worse than any other elimination INCLUDING THE FINALE. Not to get that homecoming.
I wanted to see Slapout too!
Caleb is dead last on DialIdol but we know how accurate they are.
Rofl!!!!!
I was surprised when they threw the food into the audience.
That is Harry. He comes off the wheels a little bit, and boy does Ryan his knickers into a twist!! It is actually quite funny.
Jessicas mom is being interviewed on local t.v. right now and she says Jess will get her homecoming parade. They will have to work out details with Idol but whenever Jess gets to come home it will be to a nice welcome from her hometown fans...
good morning, SJ.
I’m sorry Pinky didn’t make it..I wanted to see Slapout..
Yeah, but she’s going to be a success anyway.
Slapout is doing a parade tomorrow which is a combination of two events. The annual fundraiser for the volunteer fire department is tomorrow so they are going to add a parade for her along with that. I so want to go but I have another commitment.

It tickles me in the article when it says “downtown Slapout” because there is NO downtown Slapout...lol Basically it has “The Boys Store” (used to have a Girl’s Store across the road), a pizza place, a new Mexican food place and some other tiny small businesses...and that’s about it! Don’t feel too sorry for her though because I think she lives on the lake and those are very nice homes on a very nice lake.
Those of us that love living in Elmore County call ourselves “El Morons”. That’s one thing about the south, we know how to make fun of ourselves and hardly ever take anything too seriously.
I heard that a bigger event for her will be in Wetumpka soon and if so I hope to go to that one. Wetumpka is home to Tea Partier Becky Gerritson who gave the wonderful testimony to Congress about the IRS...and it’s my home also!
If you are a fan of Jess (and I know some aren’t) you should check out her twitter account and see some of the wonderful artwork she has done. Some of it is a little bizarre (hey it’s Jess) but most is very beautiful. She is a talented artist as well as a talented singer!
Thanks for the link. I hope she has fun and I look forward to following her career.
I've been a fan of hers from the start of this season (of course, I also long ago bought Carmen Rasmussen's CD..so what do I know?..LOL) but Pinky has a very distinctive style..she'll do well in her career..
Haven’t been able to watch much/participate this season but do agree after following up on some DVR material that she has a distinctive voice, and with several of her songs to me belongs in the top 3
The welcome home for Jess...

Thanks for the link..
I hope that's the way it pans out. Caleb will win (probably), but GinanotJenna would be his strongest competition. And she might pull an upset.
Me too. Even though it's a very small town, I bet there would have been a huge turnout for her. Probably still will be.
I saw a little of his welcome on the local news yesterday. Looked like a good turn out. And he appears to be in full Scotty McCreery mode now, trading his "cocaine and hookers" line for "sweet tea and barbeque" lol
LOL!
