I figure God gave me all the holes he figured I would need.....the whole ear piercing thing was traumatic at best...I had an MD do it...hid it from the parents for bout a month...when they found out...I got the “Only whores and gypsies have pierced ears!” rant...then I said...”Ummmmm dad....your sister is a nurse and her ears are pierced........” (after that, my mom became silent...my dad winked, in that...”yep, ya got me there, kid” kind of way......then at least praie\sed me that an MD did it and I PAID...and not the old darning needle shoved in while you hold a potato behind your ear method ever popular in the 60’s

BTW, my wife has a client south of the Norman area and she LOVES it there. Wants us to retire there. Says everyone has a ranch. It could be our Costa Rica ;o)
ONe wonders how many of these “contestants” even get beyond being a lounge singer in Vegas, or state fair regulars, after their “Ameican Idol TOur”

I think he needs to try taking one ear monitor out. Sometimes that helps to hear the natural voice. I dunno. The kid needs to make priority number one “sing in tune”
Pierced bellybuttons are kinda cool but seems like that would hurt like hell.
LOVE the country, and LOVE ranching...but you best have a big ass storm celler with a built in still, if ya want us hard corps FReepers to visit during tornado season ;-)
Third week in a row CJ has sung off key.
He should be going home this time.
