Someone tell Harry... this kid wasn’t “sharp”. Sharp means your with a half tone of being in tune. He was not near that close. Not NEAR.
Hunter Hayes' "Invisible". He's straining so hard it's painful to listen to. Pitchy. Just bad.
Keith: First of all, I'm rooting for you. You have a special gift. You nailed that song in rehearsal. Tonight it was really shakey. No how to stay in control of that pitch. I've been a contestant on a TV show. I know it's hard. I want to encourage you.
Jlo: There's no doubt that your heart is in it. This isn't what it should have been. I hope ... you're here next week.
Harry: I don't go to rehearsals because I don't care. I care what you do when the red light is on. [says he sang too high] You must get the pitch in check.
Even the lying judges couldn’t help him....so obviously sucky. But, of course, they are RACISTS!!
Not just bad but it seems like all the songs are boring or awful or both.
C’mon, Pinky LePew, save us from this suckfest tonight! Give us something to do the Keith head-bob to.
Go Pinky GO!
I'm sorry you're sick :-| I pray you get well soon.
Pumped Up Kicks.
Now these are lyrics Grandma will love. Ugh.
Still can’t stand her....she sounds nasally
I like her... but this was a dumb music choice...
Thank you, Sweetie! I appreciate that! :^)
All the other kids better outrun my bullets..... okay... this was stupid to do
She thinks its clever...cuz she’s weird like that...gag
Yeah, I don’t care for this selection at all.
I’m thinkin’ HCjr doesn’t care for this song, either.
I agree with Harry here.... dozens of songs to sing... and she chooses this one on amerian idol? Stupid move pink hair girl.
If you don’t pay attention to the lyrics I liked the beat, and you can dance to it...
:) Yep...
Her song is Pumped Up Kicks by Foster The People. I've actually heard this one! She turns it into a Stevie Nicks/Country song. I like it!
The audience cheers.
Jlo: I think they like you, Jessica. This week, the song fell right in your wheelhouse. Felt really good.
Harry: I disagree with Jen. Wasn't sure how you interpret those lyrics. Wonder where the joy is. Where the pain is. One dimensional. Ready to break out of that box. I want to see more intricacies and weirdness from you.
Keith: A 60's Country pop thing going.
The conversation dissolves into the judges arguing about the seriousness of the song. Harry--as usual--takes it way too seriously. Keith and Jlo try to sway him, but serious Harry won't be swayed.
Me too.
