The suggested punishments are too quick for a child being tortured and abused to death. The proper way to deal with the “thing” that killed the little one is to stake the POS out on the ground (in the deep forest), with enough tiny cuts to put the scent in the air. It should be timed in the spring, when the grizzlies and lions are on the famished side of the season. Eagles and crows would join in. THAT form of death would be somewhat close to what that child had inflicted on him.
