I can see that, but with all that running and stuff it’s hard to wear protective equipment. But then how long ago did he play? I thought HS’s were starting to ban contact sports.
This was about 10 yrs ago. Rugby was just beginning here, I think it was year 3 of the program. Now it’s got a lot of participation, because there’s no spring football in Indiana, so a lot of the football players do rugby in the spring instead of track.
They have also started a girls program which is on a growth curve also.
