So it's really bad here today, tonight and tomorrow ... by Thursday of this week we'll be back up near 40 degrees.

I just hope this is the one and only cold snap we have like this, this year. The last two winters here have been pretty mild. The last five weeks here have really made my AS flare up BAD. (AS - Ankylosing Spondylitis. It's like Rheumatoid Arthritis, but 10x worse.)

I’m sorry to hear that. You need a milder climate right away. Hope it warms up and stays warm for you.
