A rescue mission for a ship trapped in ice in Antarctica is under threat as reports have emerged that one of the assisting vessels may itself be stuck.
Fifty-two passengers and four crew members were due to be evacuated by helicopter from China's Xue Long ship as soon as conditions allowed.
However, the Xue Long has barely moved in a day and may be stuck in the ice.

I think all libs who buy into this nonsense should be on ships now to free the two stuck ships. May they all get trapped in the ice and hopefully not be heard of again or till the ice melts.
As we all know, this is just further proof of AGW/climate-change.
I’d like to know what the cost of three ice breakers and a helicopter rescue will be. I’d also like to see the fools responsible pay for it.

They need to talk the Ruskies into borrowing one of their nuke powered ice breakers for this.

Maybe their sending old ships because it’s old ice. New, old or thin. Next time I order a drink I’m going to ask for old ice.
Maybe the toilets will soon stop functioning. Seems to happen on a lot of ill-fated cruises.
well at least the 98 million penguins in the north pole {that seems to be melting} can swim to the south pole that appears to be frozen beyond belief!!!

They should be billed for the entire rescue operation
Only two countries have ice breakers that could reach them: Russia and the US. They are nuclear powered. This Chinese ship isn’t. It is stuck.
