There's no room for anything manly now, Controversial feminist Camille Paglia speaks out...

Our society is neutering boys of their maleness at a young age, while the lack of people with military experience in important positions is a recipe for disaster, claims Camille Paglia, the controversial lesbian author and social critic.

Self-described ‘dissident feminist’ Paglia, 66, believes that attempts to deny the biological distinctions between men and women is to blame for the much that is wrong with modern society.

'What you're seeing is how a civilization commits suicide’ she told the Wall Street Journal. Paglia, a professor at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, is well known for her critical views on many aspects of modern culture, including feminism and liberalism.

She recently spoke out in support of Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson, supporting his right to express homophobic views.

‘In a democratic country, people have the right to be homophobic as well as they have the right to support homosexuality – as I one hundred percent do.

Camille Paglia cannot stand Hillary Clinton, that is reason enough for me to like her.

Read her articles. The vast majority of us, methinks, would agree much more than disagree.

Actually, I respect her more than the entire cadre of the idiots running the GOP.

And, I’d love to have dinner with her.

Why not read it at the source the WSJ, where it is revealed, among other things, that “Her dissertation adviser at Yale was Harold Bloom” who (my note) once described the masterpieces of your favorite scribbler Stephen King as “penny dreadfuls”, and who (Camille) says that “My career has been in art schools cause I don’t get along with normal academics.”

She’s actually on our side in many ways, like Ayn Rand.

In a way, she's the feminist equivalent of Phil Robertson.

And that's a comparison that I expect she'd appreciate.

Her lesbian identity doesn't stand between her and her Americanism.

I’ve been in your camp, however, a strong dislike is also one meaning of phobic.

Classic joke. I remember reading one editorial by a local feminazi in our paper who suggested men who repeat it should be fired from their jobs.

I really like Camille. I have most of her books. Much of
it is over my head, but she is truly an independent thinker.

One thing in her book Vamps, Tramps and something was she
really called out the feminists with the “date rape” push in
the 90’s. That argument really got me to question and think
critically about some issues.

Read her book Sexual Personae.

Paglia understands masculinity better than most men, respects it and knows why it is essential to a robust civilization. She really is an original, and one of a kind.

Rational people of minority race/creed/orientation et.al. appreciate America precisely because they understand that it keeps them literally alive.

The powers that preside over the Progressive destruction of America care not one whit of that aspect of it, because their end game involves most of those types of people perishing. They, and their followers are all “the end justifies the means” folks, and to believe that motto you have to be amoral.

I’ve concluded that that is precisely why all of the “mass shooters” end up being democrats/progressives/socialists. The mindset of the “true believer” in the realm of socialism believes in the end justifying the means, and is therefore bereft of morals. Taking lives doesn’t impact them like it would us, victims/dead bodies are just another tool to them.

In the past, during alcohol-fueled political arguments, I’ve told particularly hardened leftists that they’d be lined up and shot even before I would, if they were to ever actually get their way. It doesn’t go over well.

She's one of the very few "liberal" college professors that I would have LOVED teaching me. She sticks to the things she's qualified to teach. Maybe if I had taken her art history classes, I would have learned to appreciate art. I don't always agree with her, but unlike most on the left (I don't classify her as a "letist."), she's honest. And she's consistent in her views and statements.
