So what are the Christmas plans? Trees and gifts and dinners? Restaurants? Movies? Working? Visitors or visiting? Warm places or cold?
Merry, Merry Christmas to all!
Much love,
Chickensoup
Let’s see. We already saw “Santa’s Slay,” so maybe we’ll get some work done and watch an old kung fu flick in Mandarin or something.
Mom’s house for Christmas. I am 53 and have been blessed to have spent every Christmas of my life at mom’s house with family.
I don’t take that for granted, especially when she spent last Christmas in the hospital.
Divorce with kids makes Christmas a challenge, but we have managed every year and I assume we will do so again this year.
Christmas Eve looks to be a lonely affair, but Christmas — with my kids and the rest of the family — will more than make up for it.
Will have Christmas and day after off. School closed. I might leave work early on Christmas Eve and probably be off on Friday. After 6 mo of 67 hr work weeks...a little down time will be just fine. Christmas Day will be time spent reading my Bible, reading in general, possibly put in a favorite movie, some yummy food and strong spirits. My tag days it all. Merry Christmas to all. :-)
Funny!

Changed my plans.
Going to bar with you!
Lol.

Bring the Pizza!
My wife is away taking care of her mother who was not expected to last until Christmas but now it looks like she will, which will be a gift to us all. I wont open any presents or do any celebrating until she returns in late January.

Have a blessed Christmas
We always stay home for Christmas. We used to drive down to PA to my parents for Christmas but I stopped doing it because I didnt want my sons memories of Christmas being a six hour drive every year. I dont like driving on holidays anymore.

Me neither I always stay home.
LOL, yes, that is a good old fashioned Jewish Christmas! Enjoy it very much. Maybe you can get the waiters to sing to you like in A Christmas Story.

Not too bad for a devout Christian! LOL
Ringing the Salvation Army bell tomorrow afternoon and traditional 23rd Party tomorrow night. Home with the wife and kids otherwise.

We juggle a bit. My daughter is back from Nicuragua, and will be a treat to have.

Merry Christmas to you and yours!
Stay home, watch movies, eat, really not a thing except wait for the nonsense to be over.
