my tiebreaker charts are a failure ... people do not understand them ... and of course the media cannot figure out the BALT-MIAMI ties and they did not understand the JETS game yesterday, why it mattered.
Not sure why the sports sites like ESpn do not have tiebreaker charts. Maybe nobody who work there understand them.
This link did not work for me at times on Firefox but when I tried it on Google Chrome, still came through:
http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/standings/playoffrace
So there are the Playoff implications and as said, if they falter under one browser, try the other though one can wonder if even CBS Sports had it figured out.
my charts are accurate and detailed ... the media sits know the scenarios but their talking heads cannot explain why. They often do understand that Miami does not get the tiebreaker over BALT ... but do they understand that Miami gets the 3-way tie? Do they know why>?
The information here at FreeRepublic is better.
ESPN has the scenarios up ... they might get this from the NFL office.
http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation/post/_/id/108770/2013-nfl-week-17-playoff-scenarios
of course, their scenarios do not explain WHY.
The information here at FreeRepublic is better.
Example, the JETS and PITT are both 7-8, yet only PITT is alive. Does CBS or ESPN know why? Maybe my charts cannot be understood by media dolts.
I only mentioned it because you were talking about ESPN’s playoff scenarios table, I was not plugging CBS Sports.
me wonders how many of the 1pm games next week will be moved to 4pm. Otherwise, the games may become meaningless for DEN AZ SD.
the PITT and INDY games sure need to stay at 1pm because by 4pm they might be meaningless. How many 1pm games were played last year in week 17?
http://www.footballlocks.com/nfl_point_spreads.shtml
the number of games play at 1pm the past 4 years has been:
9, 8, 9, 9
http://www.footballlocks.com/nfl_point_spreads_week_17.shtml
I am talking about my less-than-popular charts

Of course, I knew what you meant, I have read your charts daily and enjoy them. I was just saying if ESPN might have been dropping the ball on this, one could see other sources on the playoff race.
Romo out with a back injury for the rest of the season, Orton to start.
Snakebitten.
Purdue man to take command!
Boiler up!
Now’s the time.
Jerry’s got his excuse now.
The defense of the past 2 games against an Eagles team that scored 54 last night= not good for Dallas either.
Especially if Sean Lee doesn’t play.
Orton was there when my daughter was @ PU.
I watched him play a lot of games, kind of a classic drop back guy, far different than predecessor Drew Brees.
Nice!
“Jerrys got his excuse now.”
To fire Garrett or not make the playoffs or both?
“The defense of the past 2 games...”
You’re right, it doesn’t bode well.
I thought Orton was a moonbat.
As per http://www.dallascowboys.com/ they say “Back Breaking? Reports broke Monday that Tony Romo was out for the season, but the Cowboys insist his status is “day-to-day” for Sundays division clash against Philadelphia.”
Plus:
Romo led a game-winning drive in the fourth quarter capped by a touchdown pass to DeMarco Murray while fighting through a back injury that could put his playing status in question going forward, but Witten is still hopeful Romo wont be lost for the season.
He said right now, though, all he can do is wait and see.
A lot of times you lose sight of that, of what Tonys all about, the toughness that he shows day in and day out, not only mentally but physically, Witten said. Just commend him for how he approaches it, and hes resilient to find a way. Hes so good in those situations.
Gadzooks, Tony played and won a game with a really bad back. As far as I am concerned... the man has gone above and beyond for the Cowboys--
So, all you Romo Haters can Kiss... My Shiny Metal Ass!
Google says Orton was a liberal in college and backed Kerry, is environmental activist who drives a hybrid, and that his father was a career goverment bureaucrat in Iowa.
So yes, it appears he is a libtard.
Of recent Bears quarterbacks, he’s one of the better ones, which is saying very little. I’d take him over a few of this year’s starters.
But he can put up enough points against the Eagles? I doubt it.
Garrett says Romo hasn’t been ruled out.
Someone who is definitely out, Broncos LB Von Miller.
