It would be fun to have one.

I guess a M1A1 was hard to get.For THIS show? As popular as it is?
No way. They could easily get approval and they certainly could afford it. Wonder why they didn't? There are too many inactive, returned-from-abroad military types in America these days. Many MANY people noticed.

" I wish they hadnt picked a brit for Ricks role." Doesn't bother me. British actors do much more realistic Southern accents.

They used thermite on German artillery in band of brothers but it didn’t go down the barrel. I think they used it to fuse the transit mechanism.

Rick was in an M1A1 in the first episode.

The producers probably lack any military knowledge and didn’t even know what they didn’t know.

Exactly. Having an M60 makes utterly no sense to me. If it was an old retired model that had been 'liberated' then that would make a SLIGHT bit of sense -- IF the two guys had both been old tank mechanics on that model that happened to know where a whole pile of parts had lied.
It just was a killer corner-cut for me.

The interior of the M60 looked like the interior of an M60 though. I could be wrong.

Don’t they? Cohen was born in the US, raised in England. But she’s as Georgian as any!
I already miss the guv. Awful character, but fascinating. Kudos, Morrisey.

Miss typed M1A1 - M60.

Anyway, I’m glad the ‘Governor’s is dead too. That SOB was jus too dammed mean to live, which means he’s a very good actor.

Curiously, they haven't exhibited such glaring cluelessness until tonight -- with the sole exception of when they mounted an ACOG with magnifier backwards on an M16 in Hershels hands.
I can picture Hershel shouldering the weapon and remarking, "Why do these people look so far away???"
LOL

I was rather surprised that Daryl took Rick’s explanation of why Carol was gone pretty well. I would have expected Daryl to be more hostile to it.

CoA..."British actors do much more realistic Southern accents"....you are certainly right about about that. I flipped across a movie with Andrew Lincoln with him speaking his normal voice and cut it off...it didn't sound right ...HA
