Great devotion today, Rus! AMEN
Thank you for being here for us every day.
Beautiful, Jaidyn..I enjoy Cardinals year round..This time of year the red berries in the Youpon tree and Cardinals at the feeder are so lovely together.
Hi Meg and All at Amy’s Place, we are in for some cold weather too. Looks like we are headed for night times near zero again. Looking forward to Christmas. My newly married niece will return home then. She’s moved to another state with her husband who is in the military. They did not make the trip home for Thanksgiving, so it will be extra special to see them on Christmas Day.
Cheers
What a cute pair of kitties all snug as a bug in a rug. I’ll pass that picture along to my sister who has a pair of yellow striped kittens.
So glad your niece and husband will be with you Christmas.
Wow..You do get cold up there!
Stay warm, TCP.
Our nights will be in the 20s..and THAT’s too cold..LOL
How beautiful! Is that a cedar waxwing?
It is..Thank you, trish..I had flocks of them several years ago swoop down, drain all the water in the bird baths and eat most of the red berries..but sadly they pass me by the last few years. They are wonderful to watch.
Such a pretty color, especially against the red berries. I miss our birds, too. We don’t have as many since we stopped feeding them. A bear kept coming into our yard and emptying the bird feeders, as well as bending the shepherd’s hook in half.
Today our high is 22. Yesterday it was close to 50, but we had thick fog that caused accidents. By the weekend our high will be a balmy 12 degrees! Yikes. I am grateful for a warm house. It has been a rather cold “fall” all in all. Even October was cold, and it’s usually the best month of the year as far as fall beauty and weather. Love that globull warming. LOL.
The raccoons unhooked my feeder, broke my clear plastic squirrel “bell” protector and ate all the food..The bell still works though not pretty..for the squirrels..My feeder is a tube that takes falling several feet to the concrete, thank heavens..
I took my feeder in every night for about two months..and have not had problems lately.
I would NOT like attracting bears..LOL
Raccoons can be so destructive! We don’t seem to have them here, thank goodness.
We were a warm 73 yesterday(prediction was 80!) Temp keeps dropping..now at 35..wind chill 25.
I don’t recall sustained night time weather ( a week predicted) in the 20s so early..
Would you please close the door to Canada! LOL
Yes, those Canadians must have left the door wide open! LOL!
Lovely!
We’ve dropped 6 degrees just while I have been posting,,now at 33. If it rains tonight..slip and slide weather.
I’m glad I filled the bird feeder before I started posting..LOL
I am so thankful I don’t have to get out and about. The wind is a bone chiller and driving on icy roads dangerous.
BRrrrr
It’s raining here right now (Allen County Ohio), and it’s supposed to get down to 20 degrees tonight. Then snow. Yikes! I’m pretty well stocked, so might just do a lot of baking tomorrow. Hope all stays safe your way.
I’m in central Texas..no rain yet but may have some by morning. Raining just north of me..31 degrees here and dropping.
Good idea to bake!
Your cold spell is so bad it is on our local news here in Florida.
Stay Warm, my FRiend!
I remember waiting in the snow for the bus. brrrrrrrrrrr
