Anyone who opposes the Affordable Care Act is a subhuman. It is a great law but lying republicans are trying to destroy it. I signed up with no problem on the website. Republicans want to repeal my new insurance. Obama is a hero!
A Most Happy New Year, Sg, to you and yours! May this year bring all wished for by you and yours!
I dunno about helping. The girl’s mother lives in the same town she does, so I’m wondering what’s the mother’s job description? Is she just uncaring or unaware?
At any rate, if the niece is thankful for the insight, and helps her with her next child, then it’s worth it!
Of course I didn’t stay up for the fireworks last night, but they woke me up, even though they were almost 30 miles away. They must have been quite pretty from up here, but it was too late and too cold for me to be out spectating!
Right now, it’s only 34 degrees, so it was probably not much warmer than that when the fireworks went off. Folks needed all the antifreeze they could get, for sure!
Dear T-c, thank you for all morning kittehs!
Happy New Year!
Gosh ... those dang rabbits are acting up again over at Space Station #5 ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s6BTTJo1KmM ... dang rabbits. May have to go looking for some squirrels too.
You’re welcome! Unless Bill turns up in the next few minutes, I’ll drive Tom to church and then take the rest of the mob to Hobby Lobby for candles and whatever else is on clearance.
It’s only 32 out, now. I had a short nap. I wish it was had been longer. I hope by napping this morning, I will give my body a necessary boost.
Of course, I woke up from the nap thinking of a nice roast beast and some potatoes and carrots... Now I have the hongries! LOL!
Happy New Year!
Have fun at Hobby Lobby!
Good morning and Happy New Year!
It’s about 30 here, too, and beautiful!
Snowed a little last night and now the breeze is stirring up snowflakes so that it looks like the air is filled with glitter!
I’m sitting on the porch with my little dog in my lap, under a blanket.
Sooooo nice to be undead today!
Happy New Year, dear Gypsy Lady!
The birds are eating the seed I put out for them this morning and as they land and take off their wings catch the sunlight from the sun rising over the hill behind them and they seem to flash.
My fingers are getting so numb that I must take a break from posting for a few minutes!
No snow here. That’s probably a good thing, as I would have to bundle up and stay indoors!
Wait. That’s what I’m doing now! LOL!
Lol! I can’t resist being outside in the snow!
It’s magical!
(How do those birds’ tiny legs and feet remain functional when my fingers get cold and numb so quickly? :-)
Birds’ feet and legs have built-in insulators, which is why they can land on power lines without frying.
The rest of their bodies are insulated by the feathers. They fluff up and trap air and it keeps the cold out.
It'll take about 3 months to remember to consistently date things "2014". LOL
They would be suitable for the floor framing, yes.
But using triangular trusses as gambrel side framing gives more side-to-side strength.
You end up with a double-thickness truss, every two feet. As I said, it's costly that way, but it should be quite strong, and the trusses are more commonly available.
It would also be nice to have a crane for the assembly. But even if you don't, I think these could go up fairly easily.
Good Luck on having a proper barn again!
I feed my nanites with alcohol. It keeps them energized, but it takes the punch out of your buzz, or vice versa.
