Anyone who opposes the Affordable Care Act is a subhuman. It is a great law but lying republicans are trying to destroy it. I signed up with no problem on the website. Republicans want to repeal my new insurance. Obama is a hero!

He is reporting from his back yardI haven't been able to do anything about the weather in my back yard...
Right now there is at least 8" of solidified glowbull warmthing on the ground and still coming down.
Methinks that church tomorrow is probably now not a possibility especially if the wind picks up and this stuff drifts.
I could probably get either of the all-wheel drive vehicles out if there are no drifts, but the wind patterns tend to landscape the drive with a nominal three foot deep mound.
No way I'll be drivin' through that!

In my back yard, it’s cold and wet. This is an official Cat Weather Report, in real time.

We used to watch opossums eating from the cat bowls at our apartment complex in Texas.

If a cat has never seen a mouse, I’m sure it will just stare until it can figure out just WHAT the mouse is...

For my cats, any small thing that moves is pretty obviously a Prey.

"For my cats, any small thing that moves is pretty obviously a Prey." But an opossum is not a small thing, and it has a very impressive threat display.
That's a lot of very sharp teeth you have there, Mr. O'Possum!

Yes, an adult opossum is as big as a hefty tomcat, and has far nastier teeth.

There MUST be something else worth commenting on this morning. I feel like my mind just ran out of juice...where to go from here?
In the last week, I have had to replace every lightbulb in the place. Today I put in two more. Either I’m buying cheap bulbs, or the “life in lumens” is dead-spot on.
*sheesh*

I took the girls to church at 8:00 a.m., and when I came back, there was a pair of crutches in the front flowerbed.

Crutches??? Did you do a recon sweep of the area? Indoors as well as out?
Maybe a liberal has seen the light...

Crutches. Like someone just leaned them against my front wall and walked away, miraculously cured.
The Kidney Foundation will be picking up some boxes of old clothes tomorrow. If the crutches are still around, I’ll put them with the donation. Obviously the owner doesn’t need them, or he’d be sitting on the sidewalk waiting for someone to bring them back!

How weird is that? Perhaps Pat has been busy levitating the non-ambulatory personages while he has been invisible.
