How’s your seven chakra’s doing?
“Hows your seven chakras doing?”
Seven, I thought I had eight with a twin turbo???
Long work days with the project I got handed to recover. Previous leadership positions got other jobs and resigned when there was clearly trouble. There are lots of people who have their jobs riding on this project being a success. I don’t need the money anymore (heck, I bought 2013 Audi S6 and Mercedes C300 4-Matic for cash this year, though the Mercedes was for my long commute for this project) and am just trying to avoid a cancellation that would cause job losses for employees I know well, two with babies due in upcoming weeks.
We have a customer consultant showing up after the new year to advise our customer if we are on target to complete or if the project should be cancelled. Myself and several other technical leads will be working over the Christmas-New Year holiday to make up schedule for no pay.
The highway to my house that got washed out by the flooding (CO Hwy 72) just reopened and cut 1 hour off my commute to Colorado Springs, each way. Commute went from 3 hours each way to 2 hours each way and I have to arrive for work the same time as everyone else or else there is no one organizing the work. Except for my whining we are making great progress and eliminating risk areas one after another. I used to think there is no way we can recover, but now we are only 12 days behind schedule on a $10M project where over half the money was spent when I got involved. Things are looking up. I don’t know if that is 7 Chakra’s, but it has to be close. If we pull this off I may get a Nissan GT-R Black Series which is a 6-Chakra Twin Turbo and about 545hp!!!
The twin turbo will get you another half but between your commute and work schedule I doubt you have time to enjoy them. Good fortune w/the project and I hope you have sufficient time to enjoy the peace and blessings of the season.
Ya, I imagine you could shop at the capital in Sac., plenty of pork there...
