Daytona 500 is 2/23/14. There are lots of fun races the week before starting with the Sprint Unlimited.

BTW… We just found out our local circle track is closing due to low attendance and very few cars showing up. The track saw various types of racing since the 1930s with a few years off here and there.This last run started in 1964

That is terrible. There is a track just down the road from me... some day... (I have a thing about crowds and loud environments.

I'd make suggestions such as live music, figure 8 races and even fireworks, but I imagine savvy promoters have already tried it all.

They need the speed channel back.This stupid crap with these football rolled into nascar just sucks.What a way to piss off nascar fans.It just sucks.Did I tell you it sucks?

From what I hear some of them have some shows of which I have no idea how to find.I guess its Jayski for now and until somebody figures out there is a need for another speed channel.

Happy Thanksgiving all. February is not far off. Daytona and Talladega are my hardest tracks to pick (darn restrictor plates). May Santa leave everyone keys to a 500+ hp car this year!
