It got down to minus 27 degrees last night in Bend and at the house and that isn’t the wind-chill temp. Lowest temp in Oregon Saturday morning was minus 37 degrees at a little town E of Crater Lake. Records being set all over the place. Almost too cold for global warming jokes. Our first real snow of the season started Friday morning and continued on thru the day. Definitely feels like Christmas here; glad the Christmas lights are up outside. Rescued the 335 from the storage facility about 2 weeks ago. I hate to leave the truck outside but at least the BMW can sit in a warm garage.
Can’t you get fined for wasting water like that and what in the world are you doing with green grass in the 1st part of December? Maybe I’ll have to consider Benderville instead of Hawaii in January as our winter break. Then again, maybe not. The idea of you in a hula skirt is, well, just wrong.
We generally have our best floods in January however rainfall is 70% below normal since July 1st .
Have you ever looked at the Nissan GT-R? Don’t tell the Audi S6, but I looked. The GT-R Nismo edition just ran the 2nd fastest lap of the Nurburgring track. This link may not have the fastest lap by the new Porsche supercar that is almost $1M and about 11 seconds faster around this long track. The GTR hit a fastest speed of 192 mph on this lap. http://nurburgringlaptimes.com/
I wonder what that song sung with “rap” would be like?
You’re just trying to get me into trouble. Oregon State Police don’t like me going 80 in a 55 and you want me to go 192MPH? Just a tad outa my price range too as the “black” model starts at $109,330.
Brought the 335 home from storage a couple of weeks ago. It means the truck sits outside but oh well. Couldn’t see the beemer sitting in an unheated storage shed w/no electric for the trickle charger. I’m glad I did with the cold spell we’ve been having.

Missed it on the tellie this year. One of these days I’d like to go down there for the meet & greet.
Not sure just how I feel about this but we’ll see how it rolls out...

The agree/disagree votes are evenly split. Controversial for sure and it’s easy to make strong arguments on both sides of the issue. I’d say remember the man and his accomplishments and not the number but they’re synonymous with one another - a NASCAR thing.
Good job!
Talked to Kenny Schrader at the PRI show here in Indy this week. He’s the most unassuming “everyman” looking guy you’d ever find. What a nice guy.
Is that one the winner this year?
I am waiting for My Sources to reply. More news at 11...
As in January 11???
I still don’t know the winners and I was talking to the organizer this morning. He wanted to talk idiot drivers interrupting the parade
A wait is fine. My life is so exciting I bought one of those dryer vent cleaning kits today and pulled the dryer and cleaned the vent per instructions. (Shop vac, cordless drill, brush & flexible rod) Holy guacamole there was 5 gallons of fluff in that 12 foot run. BTW Mynavigator has us in Benderville June 23rd as we travel back from Sonoma.
