Really? You've never seen Star Wars, Close Encounters, ET, Alien, or Superman? Are you human?

And why do you hope to never see one? Do you have an irrational fear of moving pictures with sound synchronized with it?

Gattaca was very good. I think BattleStar Galactica could be added both the original tv movie and the scify version.

You could add “Colossus: The Forbin Project” or “War games” as prequels to BattleStar or Terminator.

All four are machines vs. man movies and very well done.
