At 10 months the risk is lessened.
The judge is placing the child at risk for his own agenda.
Yep, put it in a bottle.
She can start pumping and her body will make more to meet the additional demand. In a few days the lactation karma will be in balance.
Huh. Didn’t know we had your type of militant mammary mommies here at FR. You are entitled to your own opinion. But not your own facts.
Let me guess. You breastfed your kids till they started school?
Wait to have time with his child? Just how long should he wait?
Breast milk can be frozen. Unfortunately, pumping doesn’t always work for everyone.
At risk of what? Being weaned at a normal age?
My kids were eating food and drinking dairy milk at 10/11 months - nursing was not their sole form of sustenance when they were old enough to walk.
She can feed the child what she pumps. She doesnt need to throw it away.
What kind of a douche bag denies a father the right to see his child?
Hundreds of millions of children have grown up on formula.
Most of the benefits of breast feeding are obtained in the first 6 months.

This kind:
Im feeling frustrated, hurt, Moser told WFMZ-TV. Im trying to keep myself from crying, its very emotional.
No, the parents put the child at risk by allowing their marriage to fail.
The judge is just trying to ensure the child has access to her father.
Its amazing that men even get married anymore.
Women use this as an issue to keep fathers away from “their” children and that is wrong- they could pump milk while the child is away and store it... but they should not use it as an excuse to prevent a father from seeing a child.
My idiot ex tried to do that, until I told the judge she had just bought herself new breasts (against my wishes) and was unable to breastfeed- he ordered her to go to a court appointed nurse to determine if she was able to breastfeed and she dropped the claim.
Sure wish we had information on what caused the end of the relationship...could be either one cheated or a mutual decision to end, or any other reason. Unfortunately for the child, the adults couldn’t play responsibly and the child has to pay for their childishness. It is true that breastmilk is best for the child, but there are ways to get past that obstacle. If the father truly wants time with the baby and not just trying to be vindictive to the mom, then they need to find a way to make it work!
Your ex shoulda been charged with perjury and contempt.
I have two healthy kids, and two healthy grand kids, none of them were breastfed.
There is nothing wrong with not breastfeeding. This crap about kids cannot be healthy if not breast fed is Bullsh*t.
My daughter was breast fed and my son was bottle fed (after the first 6 weeks). I had to stop feeding the son due to thyroid issues and they burned my thyroid with iodine radiation. My son has JRA, Lymes disease and is not generally healthy. My daughter only has spondolysis but is otherwise VERY healthy. I have to agree that breastfeeding, up to the first birthday is the best option, and should be done unless there is a medical reason why it can’t be.
Still, there is no reason why she can’t pump enough for his visits, and pump while baby is gone to keep up production!
Well she probably should have suggested putting it in a bottle.
Instead she chose to deny her child access to her father.
