Man, do I love that fun infomercial for three hours every day. The one for Rush's book.
Rush is on our side, I don’t care if he does some marketing on his show. Why do we attack someone who understands and also pisses off the left so perfectly? Also, his book is good for kids, I just bought several copies that I’m donating my kids school library.

He’s a multimillionaire....you aren’t....enough said!
He sure has convinced the liberals/progressives that he is one. Their hate for him is visceral. A self-styled rabbi I know express the fervent wish to to twist a broken glass into Rush's forehead.
Honestly, from the impression some FReepers give you'd think conservatism starts and ends with turning a profit, that anything action that results in a profit must be beyond reproach.
I don't object to Rush making a profit, but I certainly don't have to agree with his methods. That's why I stopped listening to his show.
Now that’s funny.
Most ‘around here’ can spot a strawman argument as well.
It’s merely an observation.
I just read that, for the first time, a few days ago. That should be sent to Drudge, The Blaze, Breitbart, etc.
Hannity has been great this week. A renewed purpose, it seems.
“Honestly, from the impression some FReepers give you’d think conservatism starts and ends with turning a profit...”
Umm...it DOES. It’s called private property.
Ironic to be called sanctimonious by someone proselytizing in their sig line...but ehhh, whatever makes you feel better.
I bought Rush 24/7. Each radio show is about 35 minutes; which means 25 min of commercials and announcements are eliminated. If he starts babbling about how he doesn’t like to talk about himself while talking about himself, I fast forward through it.
It’s been a wise investment.
You might want to check your knickers....
in a bit of a twist...no need to shout.
Have you ever tried listening to the Crazy Alex show... it is entertaining...
You could always go with Callista's talking elephant instead.

That's exactly why he is valuable.
He knows exactly where the itchiest scabs on the body politic are to be found. And he scratches them until they bleed!
I bought the book. My son has some delays and prefers more kiddie style books at bedtime, but after some tantruming after seeing how big and thick and potentially educating the book appeared, I got my little guy to sit for it tonight. He was enchanted by page 2, where someone throws up on someone else. It’s funny right from the start. The characters are very appealing to even reluctant readers, and my son wanted us to read more than the one chapter we had time for.
I’m so glad I bought it. While it’s history with no liberal bias, it’s also fun. Win win.
As a homeschooling mom for a decade and a half (not currently), I really appreciate good American history books from OUR side. The truth, the focus on FREEDOM and not victim grievances.
Thank you, Rush.
The art of persuasion is first and foremost figuring out the path of least resistance to your listener's heart. Rush's pic on the cover of a book and himself as the main character makes it all that much more difficult. I am not saying that is right, I am saying that it the way it is. There is a big difference between the two.
It's perfectly clear what you are saying, and there is nothing knee-jerk about my response.
You think Rush has an image problem, to the point that you seem to think he shouldn't use his own image on HIS OWN PRODUCTS! This is INSANITY -- reminds me of McCain not using Obama's middle name during the campaign because he thought it would be offensive to some!
The real problem is YOU are uncomfortable with Rush's image. The book sales are doing quite well with his image on them, and his image is not something to be ashamed of! Last I heard he sold 200,000 the first week.
Maybe you should write Rush and tell him his characters need to have more "diversity" -- maybe an LGBT horse, or a one-legged burka-clad midget muslim woman on the horse, or maybe he could license Hillary Clinton's image riding the horse -- to sell more books, of course, and to avoid offending sensitive liberals, especially since we all must acknowledge Rush is responsible for the "war on women"....
Really, it is! He's a national treasure. I'll bet none of these armchair critics even know what the "Limbaugh theorem" is, now being acknowledged in media circles, left and right.
I time the commercials sometimes but the infocoms frustrate me for being annoying. I turn off the show and drive silent.
