LBJ Was The Man Who Killed Kennedy
disinformation ^ | 11/4/2013 | Roger Stone

Posted on 11/05/2013 5:18:16 PM PST by Pontiac

I realize that delving into the world of assassination research and a belief in a conspiracy will lead some to brand me as an extremist or a nut, but the facts I have uncovered are so compelling that I must make the case that Lyndon Baines Johnson had John Fitzgerald Kennedy murdered in Dallas to become president himself and to avert the precipitous political and legal fall that was about to beset him.

Snip

When Lodge was in his eighties, he served vigorously as the chairman of Ronald Reagan’s campaign for President in Connecticut, a post I had recruited him for as the Northeast regional director.

Lodge had done Kennedy’s dirty work coordinating a campaign with the CIA to assassinate Catholic Vietnamese President Diem. I couldn’t resist asking John Lodge about his brother. “Did you ever ask your brother who really killed Kennedy?” I said.

Snip

His lips spread in a tight grin. “Cabot said it was the Agency boys, some Mafiosi,” he looked me in the eye . . . “and Lyndon.”

“Did your brother know in advance?” I asked.

Lodge took a sip of his Manhattan.“He knew Kennedy wouldn’t be around to fire him. LBJ kept him at his post so he could serve his country.”

I don't know if Jackie thought it was LBJ but I have heard that the Texas Governor’s wife (name escapes me now) thought it was LBJ.

These conspiracy BS theories are just that --- all BS.

See my link above.

I believed LHO was the sole shooter too but the reality of the second shooter is obvious to me after seeing the wound develop in slow motion. The trajectory of the final headshot does not look to be from behind but from the left. I'm beginning to think the "Grassy Knoll" theory is BS.

But could you have fired 3 shots in six seconds hitting the target twice?

It was 8+ seconds, and yes I could and so could you.

Remember, the clock starts at shot number one. That means you have 8 seconds to get off two shots, not three.

Pretty easy actually.

“One man killed JFK....a crazy little Commie loser named Lee Harvey Oswald....There was no conspiracy. Not sexy.”

Agreed, end of discussion. May have been those who wanted JFK dead, but only Oswald pulled the trigger. Fifty years later, it’s time to put it to rest.

FWIW, I remember where I was that day when the news came.

"I think that LBJ was in on it, but I think the Democrat party was also in on it"

Also; who profits?

Consider what happened to LBJ(a jerk and a true FDR democrat) after JFK (not the dove he's portrayed to be) was disappeared ?
The left ate Johnson alive and made sure he was broken away from the Kennedy myth.
The democrat party turned totally away from anything Truman or JFK would have supported and led us steadily to the fecal repository (can) we find in today's DC.

LBJ was probably too canny to have a national level opponent burned on his (Texas) turf.

In '63 I watched the coverage (from college - I was a liberal then...'till drafted) and heard/read all the after reportage, I heard it all again ten years later on tape, read the theories and collect WW2 rifles, and I have no hard opinion on who or where the shots came from ('though the grassy knoll DID stand out in all those real time reports) so I can't add anything to the specific shooter debate.

But I do seriously believe that the hit was bought and paid for by someone within the party who had a vision of the direction history was fated to go - and now we're almost there.

“I was amazed when I went there. I always envisioned it as some really long range shot. When I was looking out there was a guy standing next to me that said the same thing I was thinking... ‘that was really close!””

The film makes it look a lot farther than it actually is. The School Book Depository is mere feet off of the street.

I think LBJ did it. JFK had already picked his VP ( I forget who) and he had accepted. Then It was withdrawn and LBJ was selected. Was it because LBJ had Hoover’s file on JFK and his sexcapades? Who know? Who cares? One lousy rat killing another.

I remember where I was that day when the news came.

Latin class

Teacher was a WW2 combat chaplain who couldn't make it thru the period without a cig.

Taught for half an hour and disappeared until dismissal time.

Came running in and shouted, "Hey you guys, I just heard President Kennedy was shot by a sniper"

Remember it like yesterday.

I went out to Hobby to see his motorcade...down Airport Blvd... when he got to Houston.

Next day he was dead.

JFK was asked by many people to step down for health reasons, but he always adamantly refused. So isn’t it reasonable to assume that *someone* decided that he was too dangerous to live?

I have wonder if certain people decided to take Kennedy out because he was a security risk because of his drug use and womanizing.

Referring to the old Rolling Stones song “Sympathy For The Devil”, where Mick as the devil sings “I shouted out ‘Who killed the Kennedys?’ when after all, it was you and me.”

I remember where I was too. Sitting on a stool at the soda fountain drinking a malt, the radio was on and I had to scream at the woman behind the counter to SHUT UP so I could hear the news.

LBJ and Ed Clark had painted themselves into a corner to the point that only the power of the presidency was going to keep them both out of prison and JFK was going to drop Lyndon for the 64 election. Read Barr McClellan’s book.

My family was so conservative we would not have gone out in the front yard to watch JFK drive by. My father detested LBJ and JFK.

I thought JFK spent the night at the Rice Hotel and went to Dallas the next day, but maybe not.

In my capacity as Reagan’s Regional Political Director for the Northeast, I helped coordinate thirteen presidential trips, giving me a unique perspective on how the Secret Service interacts with presidential aides during a presidential visit. This perspective, I believe, has given me keen insight into the many anomalies in the way the Secret Service and Vice President Johnson’s aides acted in the run-up to President Kennedy’s visit to Dallas.

Does he take into account that procedures were significantly tightened up following the assassination, I wonder. /rhetorical
