According to Special Report, a cadre of Quislings in the House are planning a revolt against not only the conservative majority, but the leadership as well.
No doubt led by Peter King who recently insinuated he was not going to continue playing 'Cruz' game', this group will vote with the rats to block our next volley to the senate, the hardest one yet for them to reject.
We cannot allow this. If you are a Freeper and think your rep might be involved in this treachery, melt the phone lines and fill the inboxes. No insurrection can be afforded at this point. Time to tranquilize the RINOS.
Dems are beating them up good, and rightfully so.
Boehner and Cantor should have bruoght Reid’s bill up for a vote and told the RINOs to vote against it or else.
Is conference a good thing? I thought Cruz was against it, but the Dims sure seem pi$$ed about it.
NO CONFERENCE COMMITTEE PER REID!!!!
Only if they pass clean bill.
They want to blame Reid for refusing to conference.
It’s an incredibly stupid idea. He’ll just say “Have the vote on the Senate bill.”
And he’ll be right.
Bad thing. A chance for GOP to fold on the 1 year delay.
He asked : Has any of this been scripted ???
He did!! Wanted to know if House Leadership has spoken with Senate Leadership.
Michele Bachmann on Greta, now. Calling out 0Care for what it is — and ALWAYS have been — meant to be. Something to “COLLAPSE OUR HEALTHCARE SYSTEM to usher in SOCIALIZED HEALTHCARE”. She said 0bammy knew and wants this, Hillary knew this, etc.
just saw Chuckie Schumer, NY on c span 2...telling the house they were nuts to request a conference at this stage...said they have the Senate’s original CR.. vote on that one.....lol
damn I hate that jerk almost as much as hussein obama. in fact all the senate democrats make me physically ill. all of them...
by the way notice Harry Reid could hard walk with out assistance today...how long before he is in a wheel chair,. oh well create another job...right Harry...you’ll need a pusher..
Good on him! It has all been worked out ahead. GOPe wants Obamacare as much as the Democrats. They set this up to cover Boehner and the GOPe stinky butts. I hate them...hate.
a man at church yestterday said he was sure Reid is senile...
I feel that also..
I worked nursing homes for 17 years (had a beauty/barber shop) and I worked with many that were in their final stages of life...
and when I watch these elderly in our Congress making decisions for 300 million Americans it makes me ill...
just now watching Nancy Pelosi with her hands always in motion...that is a case of anxiety and she is unhitched..that is NOT a diagnosis that is just my opinion!!! bad nerves, what do ya say Nancy??? I’m sure they have staff reading our posts...lol
hey....Rep Louise Slaughter NY another one who should be OUT of office..
84 years old...born Aug.14 1929....
another prime example of TERM LIMITS... no one should be making decisions for Americans that are past 75...brain cells are dead or are dying....
she is rattling on cspan now...errrrrrrr
NOTE TO CONGRESS...
MOST OF YOU ARE PAST THE AGE WHERE EVEN THE OBAMACARE PLAN WON’T GIVE YOU THE BLUE PILL..YOU’RE ALL PAST THE AGE LIMIT..JUST ASK HUSSEIN...ERRR GEORGE SOROS..DIDN’T HIS FRIENDS WRITE THE BILL..THAT NO ONE HAS READ...?????
QUESTIONS...QUESTIONS...
YES...I’M IN THAT AGE GROUP...TURNED 70 THIS YEAR..BUT I RETIRED 12 YEARS AGO...I KNEW MY LIMIT WAS APPROACHING.
Me too, haircutter.
We should have fought our peers when we were younger. We were too busy working, raising our families, and shaking our heads at those idiots in our generation.
When we castigate them, we need to take a good look at our failure to confront them back then. I never thought they would insidiously worm their way into all our institutions, but they did, right down to the Girl Scouts.
Our failure is that we didn’t fight them back then. I am afraid it is now too late, for they have ruined everything they have touched, and have taken our country down without a shot being fired. All they needed was their loud mouths and rhetoric!
Look back to the 60s, and see how many of “them” have successfully infiltrated into all aspects of our lives. Never thought much about the McCarthy period, was very young at the time, but now am beginning to think he was right.
We deserve the scorn of our children and grandchildren. We were asleep, and never thought they would succeed. Now all we can do is grieve the loss of our country, because we took it for granted.
oh so true...
while I was raising my two gifts, I was in local politics a bit..my kids hated it!!! lol but when they became adults they both admitted they were raised by a conservative Republican and they will always follow the same path..
when they began dating they asked their dates...’are you Democrat and do you smoke?’ if they answered yes to those questions...they said...bye bye...my mom will never like you...it became a running family joke...
time to call it a day...and what a day it has been...
sweet dreams to all...
Recall time!
Gohmert probably thought the leadership’s offer was too bad and wanted to send the current bill back to the Senate.
Here is what Rep. Gohmert says regarding his NO vote.
Rep. Louie Gohmert (TX-01) released the following statement today after the House passed a bill that funded Obamacare:
On January 1st, when millions of Americans will likely lose their employers contribution to their health insurance, I will refuse to receive that same subsidy. It also means I will have to pay a substantial penalty or tax, but I cannot in good conscience accept the subsidy when so many Americans have lost their insurance altogether because of ObamaCare. We are supposed to be the servants of the American people, not the masters.
House Republicans have voted for and sent the Senate two different bills, because we have been offering compromises, even to the extent of compromising with ourselves because Senate Democrats and the President have refused to negotiate at all. They have made clear that they will negotiate with Russians and Iranians, but will not negotiate with Americans.
In the Continuing Resolution on which we voted Monday night, all funding is restored to the government takeover of Americans healthcare, referred to as ObamaCare, including funding of abortion. I could not vote for the resolution, though I am in agreement with the language ending government subsidies to Congress while Americans suffer without them.
The President has given waivers or exemptions to hundreds and hundreds of his cronies, many businesses and some unions. I could not in good faith vote for a bill that provides even more funding for Obamacare when I have heard from massive numbers of constituents about the damage it is doing.
I will continue to listen to the people of my district, but the hue and cry is overwhelmingly from those who have lost insurance, had insurance costs become prohibitive, lost jobs, or have been moved from full-time employment to part-time because of Obamacare.
