So what did you think (if you watched the show)?
Right?!?!
“Beats the Sopranoes ending, satisfying!”
This is what people are saying! Agreed! I liked it when Walter told Skyler he did it all for himself. Because he felt alive while in the meth business. This of course is only half the story. He did it for his family (money) and himself
I wanted a little more. Decent enough. No single finally could do the whole series justice though. I guess I was fine with Skyler’s ending. Just sitting there and the mournful look on her face in her last scene seemingly wondering how she could hate this man and how she could love this man at the same time.
Tod’s death was epic enough. A little bit of gratification for Jesse — who escapes into the unknown.
Notice how Uncle Jack died in mid sentence just like Hank did?
Everybody died as they lived. The Nazi’s violently, Todd death, bloodless, seems somehow ritualistic. Lydia’s death by ricine poisoning from an hidden hand, much like she lived — secretly pulling on the doll strings she could reach.
Finally, Walter. Walter died as he lived — a victim on circumstance to the very end.
Well, the Machine Gun in the trunk was really AWESOME!
I was overwhelmed with AWESOMENESS!
I only saw about 9 episodes so I don't know all the angles. That said why is it a good thing that Jesse the drug dealer gets away?
I watched about three minutes of “Talking Bad”, it’s about all I could take of the actor who played Jesse.
I think in his head, he was the real star of the series.
Jesse had a conscience and had lost the most.
Look at it this way.
Nobody was having trouble parallel parking their car and the screen didn’t go black.
#:^)
Yeah I see what your saying, eventually they would reach a point where it would get ridiculous. “Hey this show is in it’s 15th season - How long can a person live with terminal lung cancer again?” lol Brilliant show
Aaron is a good actor, but yeah, I saw he has been bitten by the OMG-I-AM-SO-GREAT bug. He's a hot commodity right now, I saw the advert for his new movie. Humility in the face of great fame is a tough thing to achieve, and in fact, I know of only one person to achieve it: Sandra Bullock. Most of the rest of them go Pure A-hole.
The thing *I* didn’t see was the Schwarz scene, with the extortion (in their minds, anyways) to perform. Brilliant writing.
Great, well done and bravo!
I loved that. In a way, he kinda did a 9th step amend....
Excellent catch. :)
Todds death, bloodless, seems somehow ritualistic.
The only thing that could have improved it is if Jesse had growled "This *IS* personal" in response to Todd's cavalier "Nothing personal" when killing Andrea.
good point. way too many TV shows last well beyond their years and go out via cancellation or a hastily produced ending. This was just the opposite. About as perfect an ending as you could get.
Kept you waiting there, too long my love
All that time, without a word
Didn't know you'd think, that I'd forget, or I'd regret
Perfect...
That captures my feelings about it perfectly. It was well done, but... yeah, just a little anti-climatic. They could have maybe made it a 2-hour and added a little more tension and drama.
And, as my wife reminded me, it was on basic cable.....
This last season was called Ozymandias which was a really great choice. Its about a great king who achieved all he wanted to achieve and was left with nothing but devastation and a crumbling monument.
