A parent in Towson, Md., was arrested Thursday night at a public forum after vocally expressing his concerns about the Baltimore County School District's plan to use Common Core standards in its curriculum.

Robert Small, a concerned father, was forcefully removed from the meeting by a police officer after he interrupted Baltimore County Schools Superintendent Dallas Dance during the question-and-answer portion of the forum.

The meeting apparently didn't allow parents to stand up and ask questions or comment. Parents and other attendants were instead asked to write their questions on a piece of paper and officials would read them.

Good manners has given us Obamaville... shut up and eat your oatmeal, and like it...

No, what gave us obama again was the shortsighted idiots who refused to vote for the republican contender because their pick of the litter didn't make the final race. I told everyone right on this forum exactly what was going to happen well before the election. I also predicted that they were going to be the ones who got Obama elected to a second term. They succeeded in doing exactly that.

Now you want blame me for the childish political temper tantrum that saddled us with another four years of obama. No, look at the archives and you will clearly see who those people are.

I can do the research in here or you can man up and tell the truth. What was your position on the election?

Sorry, I read post 72 and did not see any mention about ammo acquisition.

I know that the Federal government has been buying large quantities of ammunition for some years.

It sounds like an enormous amount, but when you understand the actual contracts, it is not unreasonable.

I am not sure if that is what you are referring to or not.

I'm not exactly sure how many FreeRepublic members there are, but I'm thinking it's safe to say that if all of the ones who sat out the last election HAD voted for Romney, it wouldn't have changed the results of the election a fraction of a percentage point. Romney was guaranteed national loser from the beginning. But if it makes you feel better to blame his loss on Freepers. More power to you.

To add insult to injury; Small’s property tax bill will probably be waiting for him in his mailbox when he gets home.

Ahhh...the old “write your questions on paper and maybe we’ll answer it” routine. Worthless hacks.

The 'routine' is known as the 'Delphi Technique'...

Your one of those people who believe that it is OK and a very good move to attend a public meeting, go verbally postal, resist Law Enforcement and by doing so totally compromise and neutralize yourself. This moron had a way to get his questions answered but by his choice, his very stupid choice, made sure that his question was never heard or answered and that any arguments he had were publicly castrated.

Dr. Dance added insult to injury by screening, omitting, and editing parents’ questions.

The state violence worked to shut parents up in Mass as radicals began their homosexual indoctrination and kiddy sex clubs. The curriculum in question introduces Sharia law and Islam to American children. It directs hatred at Christians and the West.

The teachers’ profession and their unions are treasonous stink bombs on humanity.

The teachers did not ask for this curriculum - in fact some teachers are speaking out despite threats to remain silent.

What the heck is happening in America?
A concerned parent can't civilly exercise his First Amendment rights to question horrible Common Core education without a Warrior Cop shoving him around --- and the parent gets charged with assault?

The taxpayers paying for this are told to sit down and be silent. Subject your children to the moral and mental assault and abuse and pay the bill for it and shut your trap! Resistance is futile. Free speech and accountability of 'public servants' is answered with threats of prosecution.

And people wonder how our country got sent on its way to the point of H*L! in a handbasket.

“Dr. Dance”? At first I thought that was a mockery as in, “they ‘dance’ around the difficult questions”. But is that their real name? How appropriate.

FYI

“The Most Dangerous Domestic Spying Program is Common Core”

“...Even the Department of Education, though, admits that privacy is a concern, and that that some of the data gathered may be “of a sensitive nature.” The information collected will be more than sensitive; much of it will also be completely unrelated to education. Data collected will not only include grades, test scores, name, date of birth and social security number, it will also include parents’ political affiliations, individual or familial mental or psychological problems, beliefs, religious practices and income....”

_____________________________________________________

““Yes, Common Core is a federal takeover of education!””

“...Bowers states that there is no evidence that Common Core standards will be higher. In fact, some of these standards have been very controversial. For instance, the Language Arts standards state that 70% of texts read by high school seniors (and 50% over the course of their educational careers) must be “informational texts” instead of classic literature. Not only would this fail to teach students basic literature and poetry analysis, it opens the doors for blatant propaganda.

These standards were largely written by special interest groups behind closed doors in Washington, D.C. These groups only spoke about the actual standards in vague terms, and gave minimal information before the decision was made to implement the program.

Governors had a two month window to adopt the policies, and those two months occurred while state legislatures were out of session. As previously referenced, this adoption was heavily incentivized using taxpayer money, but that wasn’t the only motive to adopt the policies. In fact, the head of the College Board, which administers college admissions tests as well as Advance Placement exams, was a key figure in the development of Common Core, and those tests will change to fit the standards...”

Not sure what your wanting to hear, friend... you seem to want to be “nice” and “play” by the “rules” which are enslaving us, but you also want to blame the “others” for electing the “One” who’s making the “rules”... respond if you like, I’m done...
