All—Rain just started for us about noon, but we have probably had a couple of inches, not going out to check for a while.
I picked up 12 pots at Lowes the other day to trans-plant the tomato cuttings that we rooted a few weeks back. They have perked up and growing so its that time for more root room. Got some really nice potting soil from the seed store last week along with some composted manure and moldy leaf compost. Gunna mix it in thirds and plant.
My ghost peppers are root bound badly, so I got some larger pots to re-pot them. I hate to disturb their root systems while they are producing, but feel I have no choice. I have a lot of trouble getting enough water in them as it is. I have dried some peppers and ground them in the mortar and pestle for some seriously hot pepper.
I went out back just before it got dark to quickly cover my big squash plant, it was still raining, and the gauge showed one inch of rain then. The forecast says rain all day tomorrow.
