“I puncture small holes in the bottom of the cooler, then glue the top to the bottom, so there’s always a small amount of moisture for whatever’s in the cooler. I’ve done this for 3 years. The coolers do a good job.”

If they are totally cheap, which they are, and you've already gotten three years use out of them, that's worth it. There are two dollars stores on my “shopping street”, the most unique street in the world for shopping. That one street has everything except your medical doctor and hospital which is 5-6 minutes away from that street.

Rightly, how do you feel about our shopping street from HEB down to Lowes? You must be as aware as I am, of everything and anything being available to the right and left on that street.

I forgot to mention, when I glue the top to the bottom of the stroyfoam cooler, on the ridge of the top, I do but a slight “U” on the edge of the top in the middle of the sides and one in the ends, so some of the water can escape, but still keep a bit in the top, for moisture.

Since it is cool and the sun is shining, I picked up the puppy and we surveyed the containers again.

I think we found where the flowers will form on the giant, outer space taller than I am, Tromboncino Squash. Up and down — OH, just this minute there is a hummingbird visiting the Lantana flowers, then the Sesame flowers and he/she wasn't in a hurry that is so good. I have seen none since the summer of 2010. There were none in the deadly 2011 and none in 2012 as nothing but two rose bushes were out there and if one came, I didn't see it. That dead place needs to be alive and I've helped do that this summer. From my bedroom window on the second floor, I can see into the garden of the right and left of my place, and they are barren, absolutely no plant anywhere in either space.

Back to the squash: Up and down the plant, coming out between a joint of the stalk to a limb, there are growing yellow protrusions, from very small to two inches long, growing. The tendrils that grow out are light green, so these aren't going to be tendrils, they are tinged yellow, I believe flowers will develop somewhere on those yellow protrusions.

I've giving my neck two more days to get itself together, then I'm getting the new hose out there and hooking everything up and will move plants around so it looks somewhat better - it is a mess with my limited presence out there - just staying long enough to water, then get back in the house.

North loop is my most common destination because of HEB and Lowes, but I do use some businesses on Frasier and the seed store in downtown. I rarely go to Wallymart, though.

I do, and when we go into the country or even the highway between here and Waco or Temple, if I see a cooler, or any thing interesting, it’s investigated. I’m nosy.
