Tig is a very good character. My favorite was Opie. I was shocked that they would kill him off like that. I feel the show has lot of its appeal to me because of that.

I got a bike myself; hence, my interest in SOA. I think if Sutter does not return to good writing at least he could show a lot more bikes and “Patch Over” scenes.

Do you like it? It is a great show, dark, human, grotesque, but mainly just incredible writing and twists.
Quite often their own inspiration comes from their faith, or their acceptance of something larger than themselves. Walter White has no such foundation in his life, and his diagnosis ignites his resentments and pride, which have destroyed him. Effectively, he has only Walt ... and it just aint enough.
Not a lot of sex. More just drugs, lowlifes and death.

I believe every single person on earth has a choice to make and responsibility for that choice.
It’s a coward’s way out to blame a sin, a moral failing, a crime or a personal flaw upon some stupid TV show.
Whatever I do, good or bad, comes from inside of *me*.
Not a TV show.
Not a song on the radio.
Not an article in a magazine.
Throw all of them at me, en masse and whatever comes out of me afterwards was only what I am, inside, from the beginning.

It is not what enters a man that is unclean, but what comes out.
I can cheerfully tap dance my way through a wretched morass of sin and temptation but God dwelling within me allows me to ~not~ indulge or partake of any of it.

The wide angle shots of the mesas and deserts in slanting sunlight are absolutely breath-taking.

You see Spooge get his head crushed under an ATM just for calling his skanky shack-up a skank ... you don't get desensitized to that. And seeing their boy, who will certainly become what they've become -- if he actually lives to adulthood -- you can't possibly see the drug culture as glamorous or victimless.
The three minute Windy montage probably turned more kids off drugs than 30 years of dumbass "this is your brain on drugs ..." commercials.
