:"Boots on the ground, let's not forget sandals, pumps and loafers':"

Penny loafers would be a nice touch.
Obama really likes Lincoln.
The way Barry is screwing up the military, the libs’ peppy slogan will soon become “pants on the ground” instead of “boots on the ground”.
and some of the male soldiers may have pretty painted toe nails...
Kenneth Cole’s comment is sardonic, and smart: he’s got the Mombasa MF on Gaydar.
Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!

The first thing I thought when I read the thread title was that gays in the military were being mocked.
My second thought with due respect to gays that have served closeted, but heroically, was perhaps all the gays who are fighting to get in the military and receive the benefits, ought to step up and volunteer for the work.
Follow their leader, the Won.....go get themselves killed for the privilege of defending savages, so our real men and women in uniform can live, perhaps to fight in a just war for a just cause - or to defend our shores from invaders.
I know I didn’t say this correctly. If you flame me, please show compassion.
Maybe I misunderstand him, but I think this joke is more at the expense of Obama, his distortion of the military, and his destructive desire to fight on the wrong side, than it is at the expense of our troops.
bump
Kenneth Cole is a died in the wool repugnant leftist.
In 2001, he ran an ad with a picture of an intersection. One street was name Bush Street and the other was Cheney Street. One had a “Wrong Way” sign and the other had a “Dead End” sign. Saw it within a week of 9/11. Ad disappeared soon afterwards.
It’s a stupid joke, but people are allowed to make stupid jokes. I’m so sick of the political correctness speech police.
Well, with gays in the army, things have to change, right?
They won’t march into battle, but rather sashay.
An look fabulous doing so.
:-} Id overlooked that angle but yes that does seem applicable ..
and anything ...for a buck.
I thibk its about the Dollars.
Cole capitalizing on boots on the ground with a cheap pun....
my bet is that coles political postition is relatively left of center...from what Ive been able to gather, neither the left NOR the Right wants any boots on the ground over in al qaida country...so you may be right.
Thanks My suspicions confirmed.
we shall see how the joke..translates to the marketplace...
