SOMETHING BIG GOING DOWN TONIGHT (VANITY)
August 2, 2013 | Hostage

Posted on 08/02/2013 8:30:34 PM PDT by Hostage

I know this sounds hysterical to post about a seemingly tin foil conspiracy development but I am prepared to risk some credibility and get it out there so that we can say we weren't completely surprised.

First, 120 embassies have been shut down. The rationale is presumably because AQ is planning an attack. Fine, go with that but that's not the real reason I am hearing from credible sources.

I'll say in my own defense that I was told by another source last October, a substantial source who nevertheless did not have 100% of my trust, that Israel would attack Iran and that WW III would start as a result. I argued with that source and refused to relay it further. So when I hear of major predictions, I'm not quick to buy into them.

But this source is very credible to me. Still things can happen where it doesn't come to pass, and if it doesn't, that's Ok by me. I think it's worth putting it out there.

Let me also say that I don't have all the pieces of the puzzle but possess a good sense of the general activity.

Without any more pre-qualification I'll just get right to it.

THERE IS GOING TO BE AN INTERNATIONAL CURRENCY RESET TONIGHT OR IN THE VERY NEAR FUTURE.

Here are the pieces of the puzzle I am aware of in item format:

*Global Financial Settlement - International Banking Reforms *Global Currency Reset - each country currency to be based on formulation of asset/liability mix *Basel III Protocol *Babylon II Software *Chinese Historical Debt *Private Placement Platforms *39 Countries will go bankrupt in days if no sign off

No, I would be insane to start punching in commands I don’t understand

From what I am reading, they have* apparently tried to “evil proof” root in linux and solaris.
*nothing is ever evil proof from the determined.

Rm* -rf i think is what used to do the dirty deed of obliterating everything in one horrible drive grinding golem march.

Well, this is the place for insanity and performing such goofery on test machines just to get a feel for linux.

I can’t imagine three days of whitewater. I was so sore after wedging my leg under one of those cross-thingies so I wouldn’t get washed overboard—and that was only one day! You are very resilient! Did you take your “living on the edge” grandchild?

I prefer a canoe to a raft.
Everyone tells me I’m crazy.

Earlier as I frog marched the trash containers to the road side, the sky was clear with very few clouds. It was also to glowish in the sky for good Perseid pursuit.

All the blurbthings say that the best time for watching for the evidences that we are passing through a comet's debris field is after midnight. So after midnight I venture outside to acquire visual evidence of a Perseid pursuit. The sky is no longer glowish. It also is no longer non-cloudy.. After determining that the layer of fluffy globs of condensed water vapor were of a quantity sufficient as to render even a marginal acquisition of a glowing plasma trail impossible, or at least significantly improbable, and the onslaught of bloodsucking flying obamacites was heavy, I cancelled my foray into the darkness of the great outdoors and returned to my computer after procuring a bowl of Cookies 'n Cream ice cream.

I'm sure it's a commiecrat plot. Maybe we can get Eric the withholder to inwestigate.. And since there were no typos in this post I can't even blame it on Darksheare.

Although just maybe those aren't clouds. Maybe they are some of Darks critters migrating..

I have another disc with Knoppix that is set up as a Live CD as well as a boot-able USB Ubuntu Linux “live disc”.

Most of the rest of what is on my computer can be re-downloaded if need be. I mean I’d miss some stuff, like game saves and newer pictures and story files of course.

Apparently at the moment, I wouldn’t need a hard drive... not that I want anything to happen to mine.

Best test machines are older unused ones leftover from upgrading.
That is where yo throw the commands around.
That way, if you instanuke the thing, you don’t lose anything important.

Let us say you have a very tiny country and you do not face any serious threat but there is always a small chance, or you as a dictator are just paranoid.

Let us say your nation has 500,000 citizens. How big a military force and what type would you try to put together on a very modest budget for such a small country?

Whether or not its an island or landlocked is up to you.

One fourth to one third of the population dedicated to defense, that split between law enforcement and military.
As for the budget.. I have no idea.
Citizenry could be, in emergency, called upon to bolster the armed forces.

One fourth to one third?

For a second world country that faces no immediate threat?

Paranoid dictator clause.
Of course, could use the Swiss “everybody armed, even the pets!” model.

Let us say Landlocked.

Going by a country with a couple to a few million people instead of a crazy small 500,000 I would say we would need an active 600-man Light Infantry battalion with 3 reserve Light Infantry battalions. I guess we’d need snipers too.

Armored Battalion- I’d go with 10 Merkava Main Battle Tanks and whatever APC’s we could buy to be fitted with TOW anti-tank missiles and short-range surface to air missiles.

These battalions would consist mostly of light arms, with some units carrying RPG and shoulder launched SAM’s (SA-7, SA-18) and lighter mortars like the Russian made 120-PM-43 mortar. They would be carried into battle by large trucks or armored vehicles like The Georgian Didgori series of armored vehicles. The Didgori 3 has a one man crew and carries 8 troops. They could also be carried by Mi-8 type helicopters.

An Artillery Battalion would use older and cheaper (remember this is a small, not wealthy, country) howitzer-type towed guns and truck mounted rocket systems like the LAR-60.

The Anti-Aircraft Battalion would utilise weapons like the SPYDER, BUK M1 and the ZSU 23-4.

The Air Force probably couldn’t afford expensive aircraft or too many. I think at best they could buy 12 IAI Kfir aircraft+2 training versions. Probably not more than a dozen of whatever attack helicopters we could afford.

Tiny country, no immediate threat.

Everyone being issued an M-16 or AK-74 would definitely cut down on the need for a large permanent infantry. I guess you could have a militia reserve to train with mortars, SAM’s and RPG’s too.

You could have a small air force and armored always on duty while most of them are part time.

That could work if they trusted their dictator and there was very little internal strife, ethnic hatred and stuff.
